Update 11-22-2023 - Replaced the LED Driver and the lights work again. The manufacturer should throw in a better driver in the fixture. Purchased this light fixture on 11-7-2020 and it stopped working on 11-20-2023. The LED driver went bad, one of the resistors went bad..I ordered a new driver $18.00 should be an easy fix. No dislikes. When I first turned unit on, I was amazed how much brighter this light was compared to the old 3 light incandescent unit. 14 months later it still burns bright white. I need to find out what the life span is with this 3 light unit. A+ all the way around.

Looks great in my new bathroom with chrome fixtures. Although you can't tell by the picture, this really shines. I bought this, from the same company, on amazon, a similar light fixture to this in matte black for another bathroom with black accessories which also looks great.

    • Beautiful vanity light but tricky installation

This is a beautiful vanity light (I bought the 5 light version) and it is of high quality. The light is indeed bright - and I probably will install a dimmer. But for now, the light is great and I am happy with the final product. My only real issue is the installation which is tricky because it is quite heavy and difficult to install without help. By this, I refer to attaching the light assembly (the part that you see) to the base plate. They provide the tiniest screws that are so small that they are difficult to install. This is true even with a ladder which I used because I did not want to stand on the new vanity countertop. A better solution would be to provide larger, thumb screws for the top part of the assembly or another solution to align the base plate with the light assembly.     • An exceptional product with very inadequate installation instructions

I'd give the light itself a 6-star rating if I could It looks great in my upstairs hall B/R IMHO. My overall rating however, for this product is 4-stars because of the “challenges” I encountered during installation due to what I feel are inadequate installation instructions. The instructions that come along with the light assume that you have a junction box located in the wall to which you are supposed attach a mounting plate using two provided long screws. The instructions however, don’t speak at all to the problem of not having a junction box. In this case (which I suspect happens quite often), you’re on your own trying to figure out an alternative method to secure the mounting plate to your wall. Simple enough solution though. Just use 4 plastic hollow wall anchors instead, to attach the mounting plate to your wall. Of course you will have to first find or buy four such anchors, then mark and drill holes in your wall for them (in the correct locations, of course), insert the anchors and then and only then, use them to attach the light’s mounting plate to your wall. It goes without saying that having to do all this really increases the time and effort it takes to install the light, particularly if you’re not handy with tools. Once the mounting plate is attached to the wall, you may run into another problem; that of attaching the light to the mounting plate if you want your light to be close to the top of a vanity/bathroom mirror. There are four small provided screws that secure the light assembly to the mounting plate, two for the top edge and two for the bottom. If you want your light to be very close to the top edge of your mirror, you’re not going to be able to secure it directly on the bottom edge using the two provided screws. What I did to get around this problem was to just before final assembly, first insert a screw, pointing downward, into each of the two bottom mounting plate holes. Then, when the light was about to be attached to the mounting plate, I placed the two protruding screws into the two matching (larger) holes on the light’s bottom edge. This held it firmly against the wall while I finished attaching the light to the mounting plate with the two top-edge screws. BYW, a noteworthy plus was the inclusion of a pair of white gloves that were to be worn during installation. Good idea, I though. ... show more
