I ordered two sets a couple of months ago and had them hanging in the backyard for a little over a month when one of the sets developed a problem. Even when fully charged, every other light was only about 50% brightness. Since it was past the return window at Amazon, I contacted the seller to see if they had any suggestions.. They were very prompt in responding. I sent pictures showing the problem and they told me they would send me a new set of lights right away. I received the new set and now I’m very pleased with my lights again. Their customer service was excellent.

The media could not be loaded. These are great. Put them up in my van and they are soft but give enough light to see comfortably. I wouldnt read a book in this light or try writing. But all I need is to see and once my van is done this is all the interior light I'm going to need. They can last about 3 days without recharging and the only thing I dont like.is the flicker setting. I wish these had a permanent on, but they cycle through so theres that.

My first strand lasted two days and then only stayed on for an hour after that. The seller reached out to me and replaced the item. This new strand is much brighter and last longer. I would prefer lights that last until morning comes but they don't, however, I do love that I'm not plugging anything up so for that (and the customer service that I dealt with) I raised my rating. I purchased the blue to match my Halloween décor and it's a really pretty blue. Also, the length is perfect for the size of my condo's patio length.

Updating this review: days after putting the new string they sent me outside, it rained and the new string of lights stopped working too. I emailed them to address the issue and have not heard back. If a product is made to go outdoors (has a solar panel) then it should be able to withstand a little bit of rain. I won't be purchasing this brand again. Old review: I've bought these lights a few times now - the first set lasted me just over a year and the second set only lasted 6 months. I reached out to them and asked for a replacement and they sent one for me since it was within 12 months still. Happy that I was able to get a replacement sent! I just wish they lasted longer than they do.

I’m going to give these some time to see if the solar panel needs a few days to charge, but we’ve had these installed for two days now - in New Mexico with abundant sunshine - and so far the lights don’t come on. The solar panel is in a sunny spot, the protective film is not on the panel, I was careful with hanging the lights, and I’ve tried pushing the power button several times. No luck so far. I will update my review in 2 days. Edit: Five days later. The lights DID come on the next night, but only once it was quite dark. There seems to be some sort of internal mechanism that detects darkness that determines when the lights actually come on. So I’m changing my rating from 1 to 3 stars because technically, they do work. BUT, they come on only once it’s quite dark, and there’s nothing you can do about that. So during the evening when we would like to be out during the mid- to late-evening sky, we can’t turn these on for ambience. They are truly confined to just dark. Even as other evening lights start to come on, these don’t come on until closer to 9pm (writing this during summer hours in early June, but we’re also on the east side of a mountain, so we get darker a bit earlier). When they’re on, they’re cute (but small). But by 9 pm, we’re usually back inside. Disappointing. I wish we could truly enjoy them for more hours in a day.

After cementing my post in a bucket then placing it into a large pot, the Edison lights I had were too heavy and pulled my post out of the pot. I searched for smaller, light weight lights and came across these. I bought the 2 bundle bright white lights. I put the solar panels in the flower pot where they would get most sun. After reading other reviews, I turned them “ON” first before charging in the sun by pressing the on/off button on the back once. I placed the solar panel in the pot, ran it up the post to the hook I had on top (long enough to string up the entire length of the post without any bulbs all the way to the top), over to the house, across the door and then on the backside of the house. I still had plenty of the strand left but not enough to go back across. So I just let them dangle pretty next to the couch. I placed the 2nd solar panel in the pot and wrapped it down the pole and back up. Then I ran it across to the house. I still had plenty of the 2nd strand also to dangle next to the 1st one. They are much longer than they look. It only took me 20 mins to string them up. This is day 1, night 1. There’s different settings for flashing, strobing and soft transition of the lights. I just did a solid light on both. The bright white isn’t too much and just enough to illuminate the area and night. Thumbs up so far. Might update later if there are any issues.
