Very pleased with this shed light. It was purchased to replace an older solar shed light that was starting to act up. We were never satisfied with that light because we lost the remote controller and it would shut off after only about a minute leaving us to wave our arms in the air to turn it on again. This new solar shed light has a pull string on it to turn the light on to two different levels of illumination and then off. This is far more convenient and because we already had the connections for the previous light, it was very easy to set up. The illumination is also more even than the previous light we replaced. So far, very pleased with it after only a few days operation, but it appears to be a quality item, and we have every reason to believe it will last at least as long as our other one did.

Bought it and it works. Only had it about a month but it charges up the battery by day, pull the string and it turns on and provides enough light to see inside the shed. What more does it need to do. I don't spend hours in the shed so I don't know how long it lasts. It works for me

I like it but it’s not perfect. It does exactly what it says it does, I’ll give it that. I just wish it was: 1) Brighter (had adjustable brightness) 2) Came in a warmer color tone as well (2700-3000k) 3) Had double the cable length (although this one I solved by getting extension cable) 4) Had motion detection 5) Had the option to set it to come on and off at a certain time (e.g. on at 5am and off at 9am) Those additions would’ve made this product 5/5 perfect. The installation instructions also suck. I could not make sense of them. Now someone with experience might think I'm dumb for that but someone who doesn't know their different screws (like me) might be equally as confused. I liked the style of this one over the others I saw on Amazon so that’s why I chose it but I got it to extend my chicken’s laying season and I don’t think it’s bright enough or the right kind of brightness to actually help with that (I’ve been told it’s too white, hens like a warmer more “daylight realistic” warm light). I also wish the light could be closer to the roosting bars, in the middle of the room, but the cable doesn’t reach that far on its own. If you don’t have the issues I do, I think you’ll be perfectly satisfied with this light. Like I said, it is advertised accurately so you receive what you expect.

Very pleased with this light and happy I came across it. I hadn't seen a pull string operated solar light until I came across this one. I installed it in my dark, no windows shed and now I can see the back of the shed anytime I want to. The batteries charged up without problem and the light is more than enough for my needs. Wish there where more options for this type of solar light.
