The lights are widely spaced, but they are plenty bright, so they create a nice glow. However, the remote won’t work so I couldn’t program them to turn off when I wanted or use the dimmer function. I have requested a replacement. Will update when it is received. Update! New lights have arrived and everything works fine. The seller was great to work with, responding quickly and didn’t make me return the defective set. Easy to install, a nice dim ambiance for our outdoor space. We attached the solar panel behind our privacy wall and it charges it even during yucky, rainy days because the lights come on at night every night. We set the lights to the brightest setting and 4 hours on the remote and haven’t touched it since - it comes on every night and turns off between 12:30am - 1am depending on when it gets dark since it’s summer time. We did install the solar panel up high so we have to be in front of it for it to read the remote. I don’t want to move it because it gets the perfect amount of sun but like I said, we have set what we like on the remote and haven’t had to touch it again so we will live with it. The remote does more than we need it to anyways. I like that it comes with extra bulbs too. We have had to rescrew only a few so far and they’ve come back on immediately. We bought and returned ones that connected to Alexa but it wasn’t a solar option so this one is absolutely perfect for us. We would have loved a wireless solar option that connects to Alexa, but we love these too. ... show more

This is a good product for the price, it must be hung off a leader wire so as not to put any pulling pressure on the electrical cord as it will break. The remote is weak and must be aimed directly at the side of the solar panel, even after replacing the battery.

    • These mood lights in the patio have met our expectations after a couple of months use.

These solar lights were used to replace an incandescent light string used on our backyard patio. Installation was straight forward. Plenty of lead wire between the solar panel and the light string, allowing to mount the panel on the facia at the side of the house. Remote control instructions were easy to follow and all the functions appeared to work as described. While the lights are not as bright as the incandescent lights they replaced, they provide a warm illumination conducive to entertaining. Complete waste of money. I was happy with them at first. They stopped working after a couple of months. I used them under a covered deck so they weren’t exposed to rain. I’m not sure what happened but I would not recommend them.

Bright and long lasting. You can tell when they're about to turn off cus they dim. I have them indoors do to no proper lighting in my trailer. It's been a couple of years and are still going strong so no worries.

Very impressive for 2 days. They would last through the night. But now. There low dimmer light as soon as the sun goes down. Dead in the water after the dimmer. I even unscrewed every other light. They sure are cool looking. When they are powered up.
