    • The product worked longer than expected
I purchased a pair of Leclstar solar lights June 2021. After a year one stopped working, I still kept it in the sun, but it just want work. The other as of April 2023 is still working very well. It gets full sun and it shines brightly from dusk to dawn. I'm very impressed at 6am the solar lights are still on. I've set mine at level 3, with motion the light gets super bright. Unfortunately the rotatable 350 LED is unavailable. Therefore had to purchased the replacement model which is very bright as well. Leclstar is a very genuine product. I'm impressed! ... show more

    • Decent lights, but battery life is a little lacking
I have these set to turn on at night and use minimal brightness unless they detect motion and still they often only have enough power to last just barely the entire night. Usually if they get tripped numerous times to go full brightness the battery dies before the end of the night. They do get the job done and are much easier to set up than wiring multiple flood lights. ... show more

This was my second purchase of this type of lights and I love how easy to install they are, you can mount them anywhere that gets some daytime sun. I do wish they had a longer on timer, 15 seconds of light often isn’t quite enough, but they do come with a good guide of the different modes and functions. Definitely glad to have some more light in my carport. Will you mounted one set straight to a couple trees at our office just using some nails. No wiring whatsoever!     • Lights do not retain their Settings
I bought two of these lights several months ago. For the first week, the lights worked well. I could set the setting to detect motion, the light would go on for a predetermined time and shut off. After a week one light just stayed on all the time. Reset the settings worked for a day or so and then went back to on all the time. After a month the other light lost control of its settings and also stays on all the time. So now the lights are on all night instead of going on when they detect motion, which is why we bought these lights. The lights are bright and when the detection was working did so at a surprising distance. If you buy these lights be repaired to have them on all night as the motion censor does not work. ... show more

    • This is better then regular motion lights
So first off, I live on an acerage property and don't have power run everywhere. So a traditional light wouldn't work for me. Second I was super skeptical about buying a solar power light that would actually be worth it. I bought these lights and lordy may the light shine down on me. These things are like having your very own personal football stadium. Don't have street lights? No problem. Don't have a working porch light? No problem. Want something that will let you see your dog run 400 meters after a rabbit and miss completly but roll into a pile of sticks at 3am? No problem. I witnessed that last one. But these lights are 100% worth the purchase. I don't think I'll ever go back to a traditional motion light. They work all night and when I wake up to go to work they still have enough juice in them to look 100%. 10 out of 10 would recommend and buy again. ... show more

Update: the 2nd light failed within a month of writing my review. Essentially, the lights don’t last 9 months and there was some water build up within the light panels. ——————————- When the solar light works, it is actually quite bright and the motion detection works well. My rating is based on... -2.5 stars: 1 out of the 2 failed within 5 months. There is water and condensation within the LED light compartment of the device. My guess that is the cause for 1 of the failures, though the 2nd light has water, too, but it is still working. If there are leaks in the light compartment, I would guess there are leaks in other parts that are causing the one light to fail. Basically, half of the package bundle failed...so half the star review. +0.5 stars: I emailed customer service and they were very responsive. They confirmed I would get a warranty replacement. -0.5 stars: It's been 2 months and though subsequent emails have been answered quickly, I only receive false promises and excuses why the warranty replacement has not been sent. At this point, I will say they are not going to send me a replacement. Unsure there was any intention of sending me one. So, as it stands, based on my 1 purchase, you have a 50% chance of device failure with 100% chance they will respond to your emails. However, there is a 0% chance of any warranty support/follow through. ... show more

The trick is to ensure that it receives adequate sunlight, and while it works well depending on the situation, it should also be angled so that water does not accumulate inside. They are not always waterproof, despite what is advertised. Angle it right since water can enter inside where the connection is made through that small wiring area or many of the seals. ... show more
