I love this light so much I bought a second one. The remote is a plus. You can program it to come on and stay on till daylight or use the timer function. You have 3 different light colors. It has a brightness adjustment. And night light setting. I was able to program it and then every evening it came on automatically to what I had set it the day before. Great light. I installed it inside my 8’x12’ shed and it’s pretty bright. It has three color lights(cool, warm and mixed). I attached the remote to the inside of the door frame with velcro and put the solar panel in a small window where it can get a pretty good amount of sun and I let it charge for 3 days and then disconnected the solar panel from the light so it won’t overcharge the batteries, which diminishes the life of the battery. I will also put the light indoors on the coolest months of the winter in New Jersey (January - March), which also helps preserve battery life. I only need to use the light for a few hours a week and wont use it in the middle of the winter. I might get another one for my garage. ... show more

    • Will not stay on when panel is in sunlight
The remote is pretty cheap and you only get one. If the light is placed in a dark area and the panel is outside in sunlight, the light won't stay on for more than a minute. You have to either disconnect the cable or cover the panel with something dark.
