This little light is absolutely adorable. I was on the fence about it until I saw the glam chicken coop setup in the comments :) and took the plunge! Got it today and it surpassed my expectations! It only got about 3 hours of solar charge as it arrived late afternoon. Yet still lit up beautifully. This photo shows it accurately as giving off a nice warm glow.

Perfectly packaged arrived intact. Easy button to switch on. Came partially charged so you could see it lit up for a few hours. I was expecting it to be a little brighter but looking at the mechanism it’s just faith string lights inside of it, not a light bulb or anything. Fairy string lights are known to not last very long and are very delicate. So we shall see how long this lasts. May need to be diligent about taking it down and bringing it inside when it rains or if there is a lot of wind. I think if it got direct sunlight it would fry. Probably long hours of indirect or filtered sunlight at an angle rather than directly on top would actually be best. I’ve had solar panels dry in the past or get that cloudy weathered look after a year. Overall it is gorgeous decor. Don’t expect it to light up a room or help you see, it’s purely for the vibes.

Also, if you prefer not to have the light on at night for any reason, there is a button on the button to push to be able to turn it off. Also, I saw some reviews regarding rust so I purchased Rustoleum crystal clear enamel and sprayed the whole thing multiple times before we put it up. So far so good.

It arrived with a bent top that showed the outer top ring was not securely joined to the metal ring that held the first row of crystals on. As I held it up to investigate the full problem, the third ring of crystals broke free too. Also the chains are all twisted. I'm so bummed that it isn't a keeper. I had thought to use a zip tie to hold the top part together but when the third row also broke and the chains being all twisted, it's not worth it.
