These are really nice little lights, the light is more of a pure white then yellow/warm one. Very easy set up, ordered two nine foot lengths to hang from the front porch eaves. The solar panel is attached, just laid it face up in the plant boxes attached to the porch rails. No more running extension cords! The lights are off during the day and will come on at night if you leave them on. The power and mode buttons are on the back of the solar panels. For the price, very nice lights for the holidays. Hopefully, they will hold up. These are curtain style and did take a few minutes to unravel but nothing like the nightmare of holiday lights of the past. ... show more

this wasnt a very good purchase. First of all, when we got this out of the package it took us 2 hours to untangle every part of it. The strings that hang down like a curtain isnt connected to the top part very well. It also didnt hold power for very long. We maybe only got about an hours worth of light from it even with it being in the sun all day. ... show more

Though I thought the strand was going to be equal height throughout the length as these are not. But sort of like icicle lights. The strand was slightly hard to detangle but once undone easy to set up and control the push button control. These lights are partial charged when uou first get them. Using these star lights on my 6 foot wooden fence in the city on a timer, they look grand. A bit of brightness for child and adult alike during the pandemic doldrums. I bit messy unraveling the string, and I need to think about how best to store[maybe wrap around cardbord].

Hang them FIRST, then cut the ties around each light strain. If you cut the ties first you mind as well go ahead and throw them in the garbage...you are not going to want to untangle them.

In my opinion these lights are perfect for what I wanted them for, night lighting on my patio .. the length & width are perfect as well. The fact that they are solar and that they have different blinking sequences was a huge plus for me as well
