Our tea cup chihuahua is a little spitfire. Although she is 14 year old she has as much adrenaline in her as a 25 year old line backer playing for the winning Super Bowl champs! Attempts at nail cutting, dremel use on her nails, ear cleaning, or tooth brushing result in snarling, biting, scratching, and generalized Tasmanian Devil behavior. Forget about trying to express her anal glands. Unfortunately this needs to be done every two weeks or so. We’ve tried wrapping, muzzling, and even sedation. But this little six pound elder can take 100 mg of gabapentin PLUS 25mg of Trazodone and still be a hell dog!! I am not writing those doses incorrectly. I am a RN, and when we first started using Gabapentin and Trazodone I thought our Vet was mis-dosing her with this amount of each med. However, our Vet discovered our chi chi has an incredibly high tolerance during a dentistry appointment. So, we use this safe, soft inflatable collar to prevent her from biting us/others. She still goes crazy and can still scratch but at least we don’t look like we’ve been chewed on as well. Bonus: She cannot get it off!! She removes muzzles, other collars, wraps, etc as if she has grown opposable thumbs! HIGHLY recommend!

I previously ordered a soft collar from chewy in a size Xsmall and it was so gigantic I felt like it was weighing her neck down. This was PERFECT. Perfect size, nice and light and keeps her from getting to her stitches. And it's soft and a nice material. My only complain is that the blow up port sticks out and she gnaws at it and it comes open. But with supervision it's not the end of the world.

My dog just had surgery and a friend recommended this over the plastic collar they give them at the hospital. It fits fine but he has managed to slip it off. No fault to the item just my dog is skilled like that. The fabric is super soft and he’s even able to sleep with it. It is super easy and quick to inflate. I have an Italian greyhound and I purchased a medium. I definitely recommend.

The standard hard cone is too long to allow my dog to eat. This was easy to blow up and Evie can eat and sleep in it very well. Is she any happier to wear it? Of course not, but it does keep her from licking her incisions.

Our 2 puppies got spayed/neutered and this cone alternative was a god send. The quality is amazing the fabric is soft but SUPER durable the Velcro doesn't budge no matter what they do. Our male dog is between sizes so it was amazing that there are internal loops you can use to make it smaller if needed. So worth the money

Ok let me say this worked great for my 12 pounded puppy for the first 3 days after being spayed. Much better than the cone. However, somehow she managed to get it off one night and chewed up the air spout. Also I was never able to push the spout back in once it was blown up, so it was just sticking out and sticking her in the neck the whole time. The concept is great - but I’m mixed on this one in particular.

My Ms. Patz, a 1-year-old Chihuahua is not happy at this point with it. As you can see, she turned her back to me. LOL! I put this on her, set her on the floor and she sat there for 30 minutes not looking at me! Hah! This was bought for her upcoming spay in a week. It is soft and I believe will do the job. She is 5.5 pounds, and I purchased the small. There is room for expansion yet if you need it. (*I included another pic of her just to share!)
