This is for the people who, like me, hate the bitter taste of bubli and most other "lightly flavored" seltzer water drinks and have been nervous to try this for fear that everything you make would taste like that. It doesn't taste like baking soda water! Yes, the bubli flavors that come with this bundle still taste exactly how you'd expect, but if you get the other flavors like the cola flavored ones they really do taste just like the real thing. I can taste a little more of the carbonated water taste if I use the highest carbonation setting on the sodastream, but only a little bit, and if it's enough to bother you the middle and low settings are great too and have a lot less of that taste. Overall, if you're a soda lover this is a great purchase to make to save you money and to take a step towards being a little healthier with your drink choices. The soda mix-ins I see include zero sugar and diet versions, but even the "regular" versions have significantly less calories in them than their canned versions in the stores, and it's so much cheaper to make them with the sodastream. The only downside I can come up with is that the bottle size doesn't make a lot of soda at once. I get about two good sized cups from each bottle. However, it's so easy and quick to make more that it's not that big of a deal to me. ... show more

Easy to set up and use. I love it. I have used the two flavors which were included and also ordered and used Mountain Dew. Flavor enhancers that you buy at the grocery store are also good.

My first reason why I purchased soda stream was to reduce or eliminate disposable cans and bottles. I have slib brother in law who is a hoarder. I don't want to enable him in any way . I also don't care about disease and attract bugs and animals to the disposable cans and bottles. What I learned from the experience is shere damage to the environment our choice make. By choose this method reduces this kind of damage to the environment while allowing me same enjoyment of product. The next thing surprises me was diffences in taste. Pepsi done this way really tastes delicious. I use product because my low blood sugar and it's very useful to have supply of surgery drink around. I'm planning on living in apartment this is ideal because I get equivalent of hundreds of cans or bottles with out wasting space. Also concentrate is EBT eligible ( food stamps) . I'm on disability this really helps. So far it's taken me a while to figure out how to operate bottle placement is critical m once I learned that everything has been great. I highly recommend it. Now in terms of cost not much different than cans or bottles. The CO2 cartridges are refillable this saves cost . In terms of reducing garbage can problem it's worth it and saving space and far better testing sodas is product advantages. ... show more

Got this to help with all the soda my hubby drinks. Being able to make our own when we need has so been worth it. It is easy to use and seems to be built well as I use it everyday. Carbonation is good and fits on countertop without taking up to much space.
