If you have anyone in your household that enjoys the fizzy water or drinks, then this is a must have. We were up and running drinking fizzy drinks in no time with this unit. Super easy to use and you get to choose the level of fizz...which is cool. I'm totally hooked on their energy drink mix- both the sugar and sugar free and quite tasty to me and have replace my daily Monster drinks. With the CO2 exchange system, the new bottles only run around $16 and make it a whole lot easier to get new CO2. The only downfall is I'm really struggling with their other flavors. Sure, drops of flavor are nice, but the legit soda mixes they offer aren't really the same. I also don't like how there is no notification if your low on CO2. You only find out when the drinks are no longer fizzy, so you really do need a spare on hand. I would buy this again however.

I am loving this! I use it every single day and it is encouraging me to drink much more water than I did before. Probably need to order more supplies soon since I use it so much! My only issue is that I could have sworn I ordered a bigger bundle that included extra bottle, extra carbonating canister, and some flavoring. But when it arrived, there was only one of each and no flavors. I feel like there was a bait & switch because the other option was a much better deal on Prime Day but I can't prove it since I didn't print a copy of my original order at that time. I'd never considered Sodastream since the initial cost and hassle seemed high. I haven't had to exchange the Co2, yet, but that is probably the biggest hassle. It only takes minutes to prepare a new liter of drink. Now if they would just stock the flavoring so it is available that would be nice and merit five stars. Why are they sold out? Just note that for us diet drink users sucralose is getting slammed for leaky gut and DNA issues and could be the cause. Is a new diet formulation in the works? IDK

We live in the middle of nowhere so food costs can be high at the local store. For example a case of soda was $17. So we brought them soda stream. We will save money and time since the nearest store is 20 minutes away. It works well and I like I can vary the carbonation level. Flavors available taste good and very close to what they imitate. Downside, be careful when pouring in the flavoring after carbinating, it has a tendency to bubble over. I wish the opening was bigger to make pouring the flavoring easier. Overall happy with the purchase and would buy again.

I have had this machine about 5 weeks. It does what it claims to do. The only thing is you can't fill the water bottles up to the line, or it will spill-out as it carbonates. I fill mine about 1/2" below the line and it works well. (Spillage like that is the reason they admonish users to not put the flavoring in until AFTER it is carbonated.) As to flavors, I wanted something without sugar, chemicals or alcohol sugars. I tried several things and ended up with Jing root beer and cream soda. (ASIN : B094CGCBL2. Expensive, but IMO, worth it.) One user said he puts in 8 drops, but I have to put in 30-drops/24oz bottle to get a really good (old fashioned) root beer taste. As to a sweetener, it was tedious to find something that was sugar free and not Splenda or sugar alcohols. I ended up with My Normal Alllulose. (ASIN : B08H1S4TPN) It is allulose, stevia and monk fruit. Tastes good. For each 24oz SodaStream bottle I use 2-tablespoons. That's my formula. Works great. Hope you enjoy them.

I love fizzy water but hate the amount of artificial sweetener they put in so many sodas and even sparkling water. I add just a little of the flavor that you buy for bottled water in after I fizz the water and it works out great. I had one before but it didn't self-regulate and I was never getting the amount of fizz right. It is definitely worth the extra money to get the ones with the choice buttons on top. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I have not yet tried to change the cartridge and experience whether it continues to work or not after that.

I am not familiar with other current soda stream versions so I can't compare. I purchased the e-terra bundle to replace my first Soda Stream (a very early version). This model is an immense improvement over my first machine, and I am quite satisfied. This model is very easy to use and the new bottles can be washed in the dishwasher so I always have an available clean one for a fresh drink anytime. I have given up my sugared sodas cheerfully. My seriously arthritic hands are singing the praises of modern technology! The previious push button was making me cranky! Cost benefits are better than buying cases of soda at retail, but I'm glad I waited for the less expensive bundles to arrive. I like to keep at least one extra CO2 cartridge on hand so that I always have a spare when the one in use ends up empty. Quick connect cartriges are a big improvement over the threaded, twist-on cartridge. I keep looking for other flavors as the bubbles variety could have more flavor. All said, I'm very happy with my recent E-Terra purchase. Time will tell as to its durability. So far, so good!
