The printer itself is very easy to set up and get setup with the included instructions. The print quality is good, not the best I have seen, but it is great for the speed and price. The Bodno editing software is simple and intuitive to use, making it easy to create your own ID cards. But the best part is the response time by Bodno's tech support line. Even if you make a mistake or have a setting set incorrectly they will guide you through it. I was having an issue with the printer not printing and a tech named Jack really helped me out. So we purchased this last year, we did some initial testing, all worked well, however we did not notice the software version was different from what we ordered - we ordered gold and received bronze. 8 months later, we go to utilize the RFID for new ID cards, and realize the software version is not correct. Thankfully we kept all original boxing that verified we received bronze, but our amazon order clearly states GOLD. Contacted Bodno, hoping to get it resolved, but all we got was case tickets issued and immediately closed, so we have not gotten resolution - yet. Downside is message reporting software license not detected every time you start the program. Needs to read it from a USB dongle and verify it online. The Magicard 300 was really easy to setup. I had one question about the printer driver but Felix at Bodno was able to address and resolve my issue quickly and easily. Total time from unpackaging to printing was minimal and the product had everything I needed to get started.
