I am soooo glad I ordered this!! I needed something comfortable for my music room and after comparing different bean bags I went with the Ultimate Sack 6000 with footstool. I was somewhat nervous after reading some reviews but took the leap. Let me address some of these negative reviews. First off, the so called "bad smell". This thing is loaded with memory foam. Memory foam is man made. That means chemicals. Your new car, couch, wallpaper all have a chemical smell at first. This bag has a slight smell that goes away after a few days. Seriously not even that bad I've smelled worse at the tire store when getting new tires. Such a silly thing to complain about. Secondly the other biggest complaint is under filling. If you would take the time to watch a YouTube video you would know the bag needs a little help. Grab the kids, grandkids or angsty teenagers and have them start beating on the foam. Pull it apart. Flip the bag , toss the bag. The more you manhandle it the quicker it fluffs up. You can't just take it from the box, plop it on the floor and wait 3 days. Yes it's super heavy and the 6000 is humongous but recruit some helpers and you'll be fine. For the price this thing is excellent quality. The inner canvas liner is very well made. The outer cover is soft and removable. The zippers are heavy and strong. The footstool is a must with the 6000. You just plop down and the bag conforms to your body. I use a throw pillow behind my head and with my legs on the footstool I'm ready to zone out for hours. If you were hesitant on buying this I'm telling ya to go for it. I'm a thrifty person and this is one purchase I don't regret.

Lots of options out there, and I must have read 500 reviews of different brands/models/sizes. To me, this is the best value out there. 10yr warranty, size, apparent durability..looks & feels well made. Im sure there may be something “better”, but I cant see what matches this at around $300 w/ottoman all-in. Im a 295 lb man, so I need cushion & chair size. Honestly, its getting it done for me. Definitely get the ottoman, as I cant position myself without 1ft hanging off. Ottoman will not work as a seat at all. I dont think you need to buy more foam for the chair, but I say commit 1 week of breaking it up & tossing it around. When new, I didnt break up much by hand like recommended. I bought a wiffle-ball bat, and poked it as it expanded. I did this about 2hrs off&on. Then as the liner expanded, I began to flip, roll, turn, squeeze this thing for during this same 2hr span during commercials watching tv. I can tell you it expanded very well in the first 5hrs. It will be about 75% after the first 2days. You can speed up the expansion size by putting more effort into breaking it up & tossing it around. More movement, more size of the chair. I make sure that everytime I finish sitting in it for a long period of time, I flip, squeeze, and roll it in all directions for about 3 mins to re-loosen up the fibers. It is slightly more puffy than 3 weeks ago!! The longest time I sat in it for one sitting is about 4hrs. I have previous back issues, and I was good-no discomfort. Not a bed substitute by any means, but a nice lounger. Havent jumped on it, or been overly rough. But based on the quality, I think it can handle kids usage. The cover goes on easy, and there is enough slack in it to make it easy to remove & put back on after you wash it. The liner bag is very thick, and the zipper is zip-tied, so you wont be tempted to open it...there will never be need to. The estimated dimensions are fairly accurate. My 6000 model has about 60 inches across, not 68, and the height as I have puffed mine up is between the 34-38 inches. So, I am satisfied 3weeks into ownership. I will maybe sit in it 3-4 days a week tops, only a couple hours at a time at the most. I dont really see how I can have any issues at my type of usage. I am going to buy alternative covers to change the look of the room too, and thats not even expensive. Their website looks a bit dated & infomercial-ish, but its legit as advertised. I say get one size bigger than the one you feel is adequate. BUY IT, its more than fair for the cost.

This beanbag is large enough for two adults and a small child to sit together. My husband is 6'4" and I am 5'4". Our five year old can fit comfortably on the bean bag with us. The foot rest is large enough for our five year old to sit on. In fact, I can sit on it too. The foam has to be memory, it fluffs back up so easily. It gives a lot more support because the foam is stiffer. Because of the type of foam this bag is HEAVY once filled. Make sure you set it up where you want it!! We would definitely purchase this bag again if we are looking to buy more!! Currently we have four, plus two big joes for our little kids in their room, and our teenager uses one for a bed in his bedroom. That will be a big IF!! But you never know, we might decide to transform the living room too. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

1. DO NOT BUY WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE 2. Make sure you bring the box in the room you want it to be in BEFORE you open it up. Cause after the fact....good luck. Learned a back aching lesson, the thing is massive! 3. If you do not have upper body or hand strength. Make sure you have an adjustable wrench or pliers to open the casing. The zipper will most likely get caught on the plastic cover inside. 4. Wash the cover BEFORE you put try to put it on and BEFORE you take the been bag out of the casing. Again you will learn a back aching lesson. ALSO it stinks. 5. If you learn from my above mistakes, you will love this item. Really comfy and expands quickly.

Yeah so I really like the idea with the cut up memory foam for a bean bag atyle chair; that's smart, but it does not work with this. I'm still questioning if I actually received a full capacity chair. As you can see in the picture, there is a substantial amount of room in the cover and the bag itself and it is very flat(this is after giving it the informed time to let the memory foam air out/ over a week). I can also feel every separate piece of memory foam in the bag and it doesn't feel good. There's even a bunch of plastic in the bag that I can feel as well. Definetly not happy with this product.

A little trouble with the shipping, but the company’s customer service was amazing! Finally got it today and it’s HUGE and amazing. Yes it’s memory foam, so if you’re not okay with that then move to another. But I will HIGHLY recommend this to my family and friends.
