I got four of these fans to put in my kitchen because I bake a lot and it is always so hot in my kitchen. The fans work great, and really help with keeping the heat out of the kitchen. I like that I can use one remote for all four fans/lights and don't have to keep track of one for each fan. I also like that they have different settings for both the fans and the lights and you can use just the fans or just the lights if you only want one or the other. 5 stars if it came with at least one extender. But I was able to order a matching one so I could use it my old kitchen. Immediately I could feel it pulling down the heat from the ceiling with the fan on. It is a winter storm right now so that wave of heat was nice. I love the night light feature so my elderly mom can always see even at night. I love that you can still make it work with multiple flipping of the light switch should you lose the remote or be in need of a new battery. This would also be excellent in a bathroom! ... show more

Excellent solution to a problem. We have two can lights in our family room and installing a ceiling fan was going to be a hassle. So I bought two of these fans and I was surprised at how much air they push. We did need to buy socket extenders for them to fit and the remotes to be able to reach the sensor up in the can but they are great. You have several light options, and 3 fan speeds. For as small as they are, they push a lot of air and are really quiet! They also do no wobble around in the socket, they are very stable. Because they are so light weight we are going to get two more to put on our patio for the summer ... show more

I decided to make a comparison and check out Amazon for these type fans (quality/price) based upon my own, recent, previous purchase one Bell and Howell Socket Ceiling Light/Fan from Lowes – I was surprisingly happy/satisfied with the Bell and Howell Socket Ceiling Light/Fan from Lowes, but dissatisfied with the price and figured Amazon must have a similar item for a cheaper price - which they did, obviously. For the comparison to the previous, above mentioned, Lowes Bell and Howell Light/Fan from Lowes (one for approx. $50), I purchased three of the ASALL Socket Breeze Socket Light/Fan from Amazon (three for approx $52). OVERALL; I've stuck with the three ASALL light/fans purchased from Amazon (approx. $52) and have returned the one Bell and Howell Light/Fan purchased from Lowes (approx. $50). I found that the three ASALL fan/lights are sufficient for my use. All three fans are up and are placed, one in each of two bathrooms and one just above the kitchen sink. Conclusion; Both brands are very similar in style. However, these ASALL Socket Breeze Socket Fan purchased from Amazon is clearly a cheaper made product. The plastics used are thinner and the fan blades (5 ASALL vs 4 BH) does not produce as much air flow as the Bell and Howell. Also the fan speeds on the ASALL (adjusted with included remote), do not seem to increase/decrease (low-med-high) to any significant change in speed. Use of these as a fan in particular, anywhere “OTHER THAN” in small simple areas of the house, etc., are kind of useless. Although, as a source for simple air circulation and typical lighting, they are sufficient and good enough for me. ... show more

In a home with no ceiling fans these are an absolute LIFESAVER! they look great are super quiet and super easy to mount. I've had them for a few months and use them daily and they show no signs of giving out. They have 2 brightness settings the white and yellow light and you can adjust the brightness of both with the remote as well. If you have a smart tv sometimes the tv remote with mess with the fan but its not a huge issue ... show more

Easy to install and set up. It's quiet and creates some good air flow. The remote control is easy to use. It is not as bright as expected, however it is sufficient to cover the space. We put them in our garage that also acts as a gym space/workshop. I would not consider it the highest quality; however, it also isn't the cheapest/lowest quality item I've purchased from Amazon.
