Easy to use, just attach the fans and extender then screw in the bulb. It’s the perfect size for my upstairs which sometimes stays warmer due to the open area above the entry way.. these fans are super quiet. I installed 4 down the hallway and you can’t hear them like a regular fan. I keep them running 24/7 since I have solar panels. They look nice and the quality is good for the price.. I got them on sale at half price.. makes a difference in my house for sure. ... show more

This item arrived in a small box (little bigger than a tissue box) I was very skeptical this thing would even work and was about to return it,well i decided to try this in my work shed that gets very hot and shockingly it worked very well with airflow. It honestly felt like a nice breeze. Its a solid 4 . Pros: -compact -easy to assemble -variable fan speeds (3 slow,med and a little faster than med.) -lighting can be dimmed as well from soft white to bright white -fan and lights wirk independent from each other - remote is easy to use and understand. -seems paintable Cons: -instructions included are rather useless -longevity is unknow -keeps no memory, so if the power goes off and comes back on . The light will come on if you had it off and yiu will need to manually shut it off again. ... show more

Complete junk. The motor is dying after ten months of use. It's even worse than it sounds because it's only used part time. Plus, it beeps every time you change a setting.

The light is great, with all the different settings. The fan is OK, but not great. The worst part is the remote. Not a huge fan of it (no pun intended). The quality of it just seems really cheap and sometimes I have to press multiple times to have it register a button press.
