  • Excellent Machine! Amazon Also Sells Chute Tool and Cover.
Style: 40V 2Pcs Battery
I have yet to use this snowblower, but snow is coming next week. Will update on how well it works then. The Wild Badger Snowblower was easy to put together. I watched a YouTube video on how to assemble it and I read the instruction manual. Once fully assembled, I popped the battery in and she started right up. From Amazon, I then bought the "BiLLNE 731-2643 Snow Thrower Chute Clearing Tool" and the "Bike Pump Holder Clip Fixing Frame Retaining Bracket For Mountain Road Bike Black Cycling", and the "Lawn Mower Cover--Universal Fit Push Lawn Mower Cover For Outdoor UV Protection, Waterproof, Dust". I zip-tied the bike pump retaining bracket to the second part of the left side bar of the handlebar (the side without any cable running up it). I placed the bike pump retaining bracket just below the first large, blue, plastic wing nut, (as you move down from the handlebar), so that it does not interfere with folding the top half of the handle bar for storage. It holds the BiLLNE chute clearing tool nicely. On Amazon, there are other similar chute clearing tools to choose from, as well as bike pump retaining brackets. The push lawn mower cover fits almost perfectly--the end that hangs in front of the auger is just a couple inches short of reaching the ground. However, if you place the top of snow chute to it's lowest shooting level, the cover fully fits. You can also fold the first half of the handle down for a baggy fit. You can check out the dimensions of the push lawn mower cover that I purchased and buy any type with similar dimensions--there are many to choose from on Amazon. UPDATE: I used this snowblower last week in 6-8 inches of snow (height varied depending on where I was). Two 40v 4ah batteries cleared a 100 ft walkway and two car spaces. The blowing of the snow was fine for me, but only seemed to throw the snow maybe 10-15 feet? I did not measure it. Love the chute handle for quick turning of the chute from left to right (or right to left), with the ability to stop the chute anywhere in between. FULL DISCLOSURE: I used this Wild Badger snowblower on a GRAVEL parking area and on a WOODEN boardwalk/walkway and over GRASS--ALL of which the manufacturer says NOT to do. However, I just made sure to tilt the machine back slightly, as I pushed it, so that the scraper bar skimmed the snow, leaving about a half inch on the ground, and did not get caught on anything. However, if you have a paved driveway or walkway or a wooden walkway or deck without spaces between the boards, you will have an easy time pushing the snowblower, without having to tilt it, and the scraper bar will do a great job cleaning down to the surface. The snow fell during a temperature of 30F, which remained through the snowfall and cleanup. The snow consistency was not wet enough to make a snowball, but not perfect powder either. The snowblower seemed to NOT enjoy being pushed through the snow with the entire width of the auger housing (front opening) of the snowblower being filled. It was much happier when I cut through the snow filling only a half width of the auger housing. I think in the future, especially if we get wet snow, I will take on the snow blowing in shifts of 5-6 inches at a time. I do very much appreciate the fact that the scraper bar and rubber auger paddles are replaceable, and that the motor belt is replaceable. I think this snowblower is a great investment! Thank you Wild Badger! OF SPECIAL NOTE: the regular battery charger that comes with the Wild Badger Snowblower works great, BUT it does take 1 1/2 to 2 hours to fully charge a 40v 4ah battery. SO, in case we ever get more than a foot of snow, I went ahead and purchased the Wild Badger 40v quick charger, sold here on Amazon, and it is a speed demon! I love it. Charges the batteries in half the time (30-45 minutes). ... show more

  • It's Better Than you's Expect!
Style: 40V 2Pcs Battery
This snowblower isn’t perfect, but it’s very good — especially for the price. It’s from an unknown brand, but it genuinely performs well. I also own a Toro 621E and got tired of the maintenance and no-start issues, so I decided to try a battery-powered model. This one was about half the price of EGO or Toro, so I took a chance. If Stihl made a battery snowblower, I would have gone that route since most of my outdoor tools are Stihl battery-powered — but I’m not disappointed with this purchase. Is it perfect? No. Is it excellent for the money? Absolutely. So far, I’ve used it in up to about 3" of medium-density snow, and it handles that well. I also cleared a section of sidewalk with drifts over 10", and while it’s not a match for a gas unit in deep snow, it did get through it. I just had to go slowly and be deliberate. My driveway fits 6 cars, and it cleared that, plus the sidewalk and front walk, on less than one battery charge which I find impressive. Downsides: Not as powerful as a gas unit Mostly plastic construction (could be a pro or con depending on perspective) Not self-propelled — you do have to push it Batteries may show a charging error if they’re too cold (bringing them inside for a bit solves this) Assembly was very easy — about 10 minutes from unboxing to ready-to-go. The unit, batteries, and charger together weigh under 50 lbs, so it’s easily manageable to move around. I really appreciate not having to deal with gas, oil, or pull-starts — just pop in the battery and go. It’s also much quieter than a gas blower. Not silent, but neighbor-friendly. And no exhaust fumes. Overall, I recommend it. I may even try one of their push mowers since there are times I’d rather not use my riding mower. ... show more

  • This snow blower was unstoppable
Style: 40V 2Pcs Battery
I have to admit, I really liked this and I had ice, 18" of snow and as defeated as I felt starting out with this thing, it threw snow 20' in whatever direction you chose and threw 4 inches of ice just as far. I could not make this blower fail. I highly recommend this

  • Works well
Style: 40V 2Pcs Battery
I was sceptical but this little thing works great. This is obviously for smaller driveways. The only thing I don't like about it is there are 2 battery slots but it only uses one battery at a time the other slot is for holding the other battery. Even though it has the torque with 1 battery to handle what I threw at it. I haven't used it on wet snow but i imagine it will struggle like most other snow blowers. I recommend this product. ... show more

  • Great snowblower!
Style: 40V 2Pcs Battery
I've used twice so far and it's worked great! I had a corded one and this is much better. One thing to note, you can't charge the batteries when they're cold. The two batteries run for quite a while, certainly more than I need for my double wide ~40 ft driveway. When they run out you have to wait for them to warm (20-30 min) before you can begin recharging them. ... show more

  • Batteries Die A quick Death & The Chute is Plastic Garbage.
Style: 40V 2Pcs Battery
I received the Badger during the week. I put it together and charged the patties up. It takes a long time for the battles to charge up in general. Some days later it snowed. I took out the Badger and started to use it. It worked great for about 20 minuets then i need to remove one battery and put the second one in that battery only lasted another 20 minuets. Now with just my driveway done i had to wait for over one and a have hours before one of the batteries was charged. They need to make a longer lasting battery and one that charges up way faster. After i finally finished with the removal of the snow where i needed it. i found that the black collar inside the housing was broken. its only held together like snapes. so now i have to drill out the three shapes and put screws to hold the collar in place. I am not happy with an item that should last longer and be build better. ... show more
