For years I have run a cheap box fan in the bedroom for background noise and air movement. You can get air movement with a ceiling fan, but not the background noise. I don’t care for the white noise sound machines that loop the sound electronically. This fan is pretty unique in that it has two separate fans each with their own motor that work independent of one another. You can use just the air fan or just the white noise fan or both together. The fan is controlled via a phone app which works very well. It’s nice to be in bed and have the ability to dial in the right amount of noise and airflow from across the room. The details and features of the fan are there in the description, no need to reiterate them here. The build quality is pretty impressive and the decorative laminated wood stand is a nice touch, it is a nice looking little fan. The airflow is plenty strong for my needs, I usually only need to set it around 5-6, 10 is the highest setting. Now for the price, I paid right around $150-$160 for mine, I’ve seen the price as high as $199. I think a reasonable price for this item would be in the $75-$100 range. It did arrive well packaged with no damage, the box the fan is shipped in is very nice, very Apple like packaging. I did not do a lot of research for a lower cost version of this fan so I don’t know if one exist. I was a little skeptical paying $150 for a fan I knew nothing about other than what I saw in the pictures and read in the description. If it did not meet my full expectations, I was definitely going to return it for a refund. We’ll, I kept it. All I know is it better far out live it’s 2 year warranty!

I never thought I would get rid of my huge loud box fan but here I am!!! I already have the snooze sound machine and fell in love with it. It honestly took me several months to decide to spend the money on this fan. Worth every single penny!!!!! The fan itself is loud and freezing cold and blows hard!!! No other small table fan blows this hard and this cold!!! The sound machine built into it is just like the regular sound machine. You can run just the fan /just the sound machine or run them both. I still run my regular snooze sound machine for the extra loudness and I have all of them on 10 and I sleep like a baby!!! It’s smooth and doesn’t loop!! And it’s super cute!! It’s expensive but it’s worth it!! And it’s going to be perfect to travel with while staying in a hotel!!! I absolutely love it!!!

I use fan noise to sleep and also to mask annoying sounds. But I'm highly sensitive, so it's really hard to find a good fan (or noise machine). I KNOW how sensitive I am, and so I have low expectations for most devices. I can often hear the electronics noise behind the sound of a fan, and that will ruin it for me. The pitch has to be just right. This fan cost SO MUCH MONEY, but I was very curious about it. I needed something very loud to cover some outdoor noise, but something that would also be suitably quiet if I just wanted to go to sleep to it. I figured I would try it out but kept the box right next to me because I was fully prepared to box it right back up and send it back. Only, the most shocking thing happened. I turned it on, and it sounded...perfect. Just, perfect. At almost every speed. I'm not as crazy about the white noise portion, as I always think it has a bit of a hollow pitch to it, but it doesn't matter because the fan part is so good, and being able to mix the sounds together is even better. This is a brilliant device. Just...stunning. On to my small nitpicks, which I feel permitted to have at this outrageous price point. 1. It's a beautiful looking fan, true, but I still think it's a bit too high priced. 2. The app works really well. I really like the app. It's simple but functional. But I would also have preferred a standalone remote. If I don't happen to be sleeping right next to my phone but still want to control the fan, it would be good to just have a regular remote. (Or for those who prefer not to use apps altogether. Not everyone does.) At this price, a regular remote isn't asking too much. Lol. 3. I do wish it oscillated. But I knew it didn't going in, and so this is really a minor gripe. Plus, if it did, it might not sound as perfect as it does. I like that it tilts at least. 4. Eventually, this company should work on making the "white noise" sounds less hollow. I found this to be a problem on the original Snooz I bought way back when the company first started making things, and I returned it because of that. I think they've improved a bit, but there's room to grow here. That's it! I like this thing enough that I came back and bought the extended warranty plan for it because I was worried about something happening to it! It's pricey, yes. But I'm going to join with the others on here to say....wow. If you are picky about fan sounds, I think this one gets it right.

I wanted something for my trip to Alaska that would drown out the noise and not rattle like other fans do. This fan not only makes a great white noise sound but also has an on/off switch for the fan if cold. You still get the white noise if you don’t have the fan on. It produces great power for the fan if you are hot. It was a hefty price but I found it solid quality and worth it.

I've used floor standing pedestal stands for decades in the bedroom. A silent fan is not what we want for creating restful white noise. I nearly bought another recently but stumbled on this snooz brand. Pricey but I figured I'd give it a try and unfortunately the first unit had a defective secondary noise fan so had to be returned. The replacement is perfect so I'm still giving five stars. Pros -individually customizable fan and noise fans -Bluetooth enabled app, no account, no internet connection needed -daily on/off schedules via app -stylish, looks great on the bedside stand -Great airflow -can be very loud or very quiet depending on your preference Cons -expensive -The controls on the fan itself could be a bit better, but with the app you can ignore completely
