Update 5/29/21- Wow, almost 8 years later and we are just about ready to replace this wonderful topper! We’re mattress shopping again, and this topper has seen us through all of these years with no issues. The only reason I want to replace it is because it’s quite stained from all these years of using by without a mattress pad. I didn’t want to risk taking away the benefit of the temp regulation by covering it with a poly mattress pad so I left it. Otherwise it’s fine. I’m finding after trying two mattresses in a box (Tuft and Needle Original and Happsy) that all mattresses now feel quite firm after sleeping on this for so long. I can’t be without it. Paired with a wool comforter and you can’t beat it for temperature regulation! Worth every penny! Original 2013 Review: Ever since giving birth to my son last year, I wake up often in the night soaked in sweat. I have tried closing the heat registers in our bedroom, using fans, and I've tried different comforters (down and polyester). Nothing has worked. Then, we recently decided to upgrade our queen mattress to a king, and we got a Simmons Beautyrest with a foam topper. Bad idea. Baaaaad. I was waking up every night drenched. Between that and the huge crater I'd find myself in when I woke up, I decided I hated memory foam. But the mattress can't be returned so I decided to try this. Wow. It helps with the feeling of sinking down into the mattress and makes the bed so soft! It does help to keep me cooler, although I still sweat under our down comforter. I ordered a wool comforter today that should take care of that problem. But really, such luxury! I do occasionally smell the wool smell, but it doesn't bother me. I had purchased a Snugglewool blanket for my son when he was born and had to sell it because I could not stand the smell. This does not come close to smelling as strong as that blanket did. It comes in a nice organic cotton bag and the cover itself is so soft and smooth. Really, it's a perfect solution. Pricey, but worth it to solve my sleep issues.

Worth it! This is my second one - I would recommend going up a size. I had a queen on my Queen mattress and after 4 years decided to get a second, bigger one, so bought a King. The king has a few inches on either side folding down the Queen mattress but i prefer that. Keeping the Queen sized topper but going to use it for the guest air mattress. I have owned the Queen size topper for 4 years nit is in good condition with 4 years of continuous use. To maintain it I vacuumed and brushed it with a stiff bristle brush. We spend so much of our life in bed - worth it to make your sleep luxurious. I keep it on the bed year round - its cooling in summer and warm in winter. I have a high quality firm mattress and this is my soft topper.

FIRST OF ALL DO NOT BELIEVE THE SLANDER that other reviewers have made against this company. These products DO NOT have any chemical odor nor are they chemically treated!! Before making any comments you NEED TO DO THE RESEARCH as I have!! [...] Also, remember had they been chemically treated they never would have gotten organic certificates such as USDA, GOTS, CERES, etc.) This company has taken the time to produce the purest, cleanest organic mattress topper I have ever seen. So cozy I wanted to use it as a blanket!! This topper improves 100 percent the texture of the mattress I now have that was previously uncomfortable for me. This topper is worth every penney. This manufacturer has carefully analyzed everthing before putting it together. Each side of this topper has a thick organic elastic strap that perfectly holds down each of the four sizes of the topper to each of the four corners of the mattress making it fit tightly in place so that it does not move and shift while you are sleeping. Also the packaging was amazing! Each topper comes individually wrapped up in a thick, organic cotton reusasble sack with back straps so you can easily carry it with you. This is great especially since the topper will never touch the packaging plastic that comes with the mail delivery. This ensures this beautiful organic topper to arrive at your house clean, without any smell and 100 percent germ free from any contaminents in transit. It is country fresh and made with the customer's health in mind. You can purchase this with confidence and it is worth every penney spent. When our waterbed sprang a leak creating a water feature in our house, we opted to replace it with a good memory foam mattress. We were used to a cooler mattress, and the memory foam was all right during the winter and spring months, but with summer temperatures over 100 degrees, and even with a room temp of 74 degrees, it was miserably hot. We researched numerous solutions, deciding on the Organic Merino Wool Mattress Topper, which has exceeded our expectations in every way. The topper arrived in record time, packaged nicely in its own drawstring bag. The bag itself is impressive, sporting a protective flap just below the drawn closure, a very nice touch that signals the high quality of its contents. The topper is beautifully made, from the covering fabric to the excellent stitching. Two elastic bands, one near the head and one near the foot, snug the topper to the mattress ingeniously! We placed the topper on the protective plastic pad that's just over the memory foam and placed the lighter cotton protective pad over the topper. The bed was easy to make as the topper doesn't add much height. The Merino wool topper is just right in every way. It's light and not too thick or dense, so all the benefits and comfort of the memory foam mattress remain intact. The topper creates an ideally natural barrier from the memory foam and plastic liner, making for a cool and comfortable sleep. The best thing about the topper is the way I felt this morning when I woke up! Angelo’s Mom & Dad (He is our kitty, who is cooler on the bed, too!)
