This SnapFresh 22” hedge trimmer is a nice addition to my growing collection of cordless tools. It was easy to assemble and once the battery was charged I started using it right away. The instructions were easy to follow and the trimmer performed as advertised. It is a little loud, but not deafening. The SnapFresh trimmer is light weight, and easy to handle. I now have two SnapFresh cordless tools. Both are good tools and the batteries are interchangeable. I would definitely buy another SnapFresh cordless device and I highly recommend the 22”hedge trimmer.

I got this trimmer the other day and decided to put it to the test today. I have to say that I was a bit surprised. I know that the ultimate plan is to get rid of gas and corded gardening equipment. If you are a simple homeowner like myself who is a older gentleman, you'll appreciate the light weight and performance of this trimmer. On the other hand, if you don't live on a budget but do have a large amount of trimmings to do, there are better products out there. For myself, this is perfect and works absolutely fantastic.

First, I have to complain that Amazon for some unknown reason shipped this large package via USPS, which of course refused to deliver to our house, which meant a 20 mile drive to the nearest Post Office (we live in a rural area). As for the product itself, it is relatively easy to assemble, but the instruction manual is very poorly written. One problem is that the plastic sheath which covers the blade was very difficult to remove and replace, so I simply threw it away. The battery charged quickly, and the trimmer performed as expected when I used it on one of our overgrown lilac bushes. Both the good and bad news is that this trimmer is not very powerful, but it can can be easily and safely used as a timesaving alternative to hand clippers. Overall, I would recommend this trimmer, although it seems overpriced.

I want to update my review: Snap Fresh customer service is AWESOME! They responded to me personally to help me have a better experience trying their hedge trimmer again with both a new 20V and 40V lithium ion batteries. I charged the 20V and used it with the expectation that it wouldn't last more than about 10 minutes~ well it lasted 70 minutes of mostly constant use! 90% of the time I had it trimming, cutting, through many bushes! I wanted to give this review and give Snap Fresh a 5 star rating because they deserve it! They made it right for me as a purchaser. I haven't put the 40V to test yet, but I will and I will update my review after I use it! I live on a 1 acre lot that is mostly all landscaped. I do all the yard work myself and need a reliable hedge trimmer to keep things from growing out of control. This was a great experience the 2nd time. Give Snap Fresh an opportunity to serve you as their customer! You won't regret it!! When I went to use this I loved everything but the extremely short battery life. 10 minutes~ seriously? I called customer service which I talked to a real person... nice. He verified that the battery life was only to be expected to be around 10-15 minutes. The reviews didn't lead you to believe that at all. I had barely started trimming my grasses, bushes etc. and the motor sounded like it had a screw loose in it. So, seeing that I had only used the trimmer for 10 minutes I thought there was something wrong with the motor. Nope, low battery! I have an old craftsman trimmer that still works and those 19.8V batteries last 45-60 minutes!
