Having no one to help me move furniture from the house into the garage, I decided on this dolly to make it happen. The furniture included a 67" wide dining room buffet, china cabinet, entertainment center, vintage record player cabinet, and 68" high bookcases. Since most of these furniture items are considerably longer that the dolly, I purchased a barely damaged, discounted countertop at a home improvement store that measured 23.5 inches wide and 78 inches long. Drilled holes through the countertop, centered it over the dolly and secured it to the dolly with four heavy duty cable ties. Set the brakes on the dolly, lifted and slid furniture on the dolly/countertop platform, secured it with the two 16' cam straps and moved each piece out to the garage on my own. Three features first sold me on Snap-Loc: (1) the wheels are 6" (easier to navigate with), (2) 1500 pound weight capacity (more than any one piece of furniture it supported), and (3) the USA quick release cam buckle straps that have a purported 1000 pound working load strength. Never could I have moved these heavy, unwieldily pieces without the fore mentioned furniture dolly apparatus. Snap-Loc clearly was the answer to my moving dilemma. The experience was safe and secure. Color me pleased as Punch. In addition I also used the dolly to transport 24 cartons of vinyl planks, each weighing 45 pounds each, from the van into the house. Saved my back by not making the trip back and forth with each individual carton . . . placed the dolly inside the house and piled 21 cartons on it that I pushed onto the floor to be covered. Left the cartons on the dolly and worked off of it until the flooring project was completed. The Snap-Loc allowed me to tackle both "weighty" tasks of this flooring makeover project efficiently and safely.

I had two dollys: one "Milwaukee" and a Snap-Loc with their straps. For my purposes, the Snap-Loc system is versatile, solid, & easy to use. It rolls over gravel, grass, concrete, & ramps. What's more, their straps are ample, & lock in & adjust right away. That's why I bought a second Snap-Loc.

This didn’t come with the strap unfortunately, the title and photos made me think it would so that is disappointing. But this is the real deal, made in U.S.A. I wish it didnt weigh so much, but you want sturdy, you got it. The pull bar wobbles but I imagine the play helps ease into pulling heavy loads. It took about a half hour to put it together. I wish it was lighter and a couple inches bigger on all sides, but the sturdiness can’t be beat and quality materials. Definitely better than the made in china junk out there, so I hope this will last. If their 500 lb model had all terrain wheels that would have been perfect for me, as this is a little overkill for our needs (moving clay and pottery). Alas.

This cart is great for getting in and out of buildings where you need to go over thresholds and/or getting over other bumps. I use them for event production, and they are great for getting in and out of freight elevators in the hotels where we perform. The E-track attachment points are great. I use the same e-track straps that we have in the trailer to strap loads onto the cart. With the ratchet in the strap, you can make a very secure load that stays put while you wheel the cart to its destination. The one negative I give them is the attachment of the handle to the body of the cart. While the handle itself is large diameter tubing, the attachment part is a smaller square rod welded to the handle. This means that the stress of the entire lever is concentrated at the weakest part of the assembly. I can see it flex as we load in and out of the trailer, and I know it is only a matter of time before that part breaks. The other improvement I would endorse is to use wider wheels, but so far I am happy with these large diameter ones!

Bought originally as I have bought 8 of the lower profile models which are great. The 1st one of these I sent back as tire tread wrapped right off one of the wheels. I received the second one and used it a handful of times when needed on certain terrains and second one wheel ripped right out of the frame. Would like a replacement but have not been able to get through

I purchased this to get large art crates from our basement up to our driveway across stones/gravel/dirt etc. The wheels on this dolly are unusable in this application. I should have known better than to get non pneumatic tires. It is easier to simply carry the crates. It is too much of a pia to pack this all back up again to return so we will find another application for it. It is a great dolly but only suitable for flat hard terrain.
