  • Great Customer service
Style: Hand Truck
Had an issue with a bent wheel, called manufacturer and they sent out a new caster. No charge of course

  • Need tools to assemble
Style: Hand Truck
How hard would it be to include a disposable nut tightening wrench to the box? Minimal cost. That way, people who order the cart online don't have to then find a hardware store in a strange city to buy a wrench to tighten the 4 nuts, when they have the cart shipped directly to a trade show .....

  • OMG!
Style: Hand Truck
The media could not be loaded. I love it! I didn't want to rent one for the same price of buying so wha-la! I am moving out on my own to another state! I have amazon tool set and now I have my amazon dolly to help load and unload the little bit of stuff I have. I took no time to put together and I can cart it dolly, just by rearranging the handle. This thing is sturdy. I'll be 65 this year and I feel like a young person moving to college. Thanks for these memories of the move to be. ... show more

  • A nice, strong but light-weight cart and hand-truck.
Style: Hand Truck
After I lost my traditional hand truck I decided to try this nylon truck/cart combination, and so far it has been a great choice. Because it is nylon it is lighter weight than a steel hand truck, and is much lighter than a steel convertible hand truck/ 4-wheeled car. It is very easy to lift into and out of the trunk of the car. The square beam construction with reinforcing ribs makes it very stiff, so don't worry about that. I have easily carried 120 lbs on it as an upright hand cart and 260 lbs using it as a 4-wheeled cart and it could have easily carried more weight. In my case the limiting factor was size. This is about 2/3 the size of a normal cart, so moving a lot of boxes will take more trips. It easily handles three 16x12x12 moving boxes when used as a hand truck and six when used as a cart. The transition from hand cart to wheeled cart could not be simpler - just pull out the yellow handle and insert it 90 degrees upright. When used as a hand cart the handle length is adjustable. The cart in vertical or horizontal mode is wide enough to be stable when pulled so I had no problem with tipping, and when used as a 4-wheeled cart the swiveling front casters are large enough for easy rolling over door jambs. The base plate is steel and is larger than my old cart, making the cart easier to tip back without having the load fall off the front - a good thing. The steel base plate puts most of the weight near the ground so the cart doesn't have the tendency to fall over backwards when empty like many all-steel carts do. The only negative about this cart is that the rubber wheels are really plastic but have a rubber ring around the edge. I guess that way they could say it has rubber wheels. So although the part of the wheel that touches the ground is rubber, it is clearly not going to be very durable. That's not a huge problem as better wheels can be purchased at any hardware outlet. But I will keep using these until they wear out. The cart comes partly assembled and I only had to attach the base plate (wrenches and/or pliers needed), insert the axle, put on the wheels and drop in the handle. It took all of five minutes. With its black body and yellow handle it is a very attractive cart. The packaging is cardboard with no styrofoam or plastic packaging, so everything except the bag the small parts came in is recyclable. ... show more

  • Easy to make it work for me...
Style: Hand Truck
UPDATE A couple of years later and my opinion has not changed. In fact, I bought a second one to use outside. Instead of taking the load off the one I use inside, moving it up/down the steps, and reloading it, to take things to and from the car, or for taking out the trash or recycling to the curb, etc... Well, you get the picture. I use one inside and keep the other in the garage. ~~~~~~~ original review ~~~~~~~~~ This is a great tool. I bought it mostly for the flatbed in conversion mode. I am partially disabled, meaning I have 'bum' leg. I can still lift with my arms most necessary things in the household, but I can't carry weight and walk too. I use the cart to move heavy or awkward loads, like groceries in, trash out, laundry and supplies inside - from one end of the house to the other. It was delivered promptly and was easy to assemble. There is a help line for questions or complaints listed with the instructions. The surprise was, it was actually answered by a native-English-speaking American. I would have given this cart 5 stars except for one thing. The flatbed of the cart has only the two crossbars - no real bed. I had to rig a bed, with extra-stiff cardboard that I happened to have, to keep smaller items from falling through/off the cart for lack of support underneath. Larger items - no problem - but if I need to move several smaller items, or even just one item too heavy to carry, I had to find something to lay across the bed or balance carefully - and that balance usually didn't last through all the turns required to get to the back door or the laundry room. If that one thing was different I would probably have been singing a much more enthusiastic song. I'm sure this was designed with something entirely different in mind, but that's how it effects me. ... show more
