The set is great, I've been using it for a long time, but I'm giving it only 4 stars because it was not well packed and one of the shades partially broke and turned into a powder, staining the others shades.

I like the variety of different colors this pallette has. I dislike the applicator that comes with it, I've used it twice and one of the ends popped off already. Also, the sections are very small so it's hard to get any shadow on the applicator. I will have to use my eye shadow brush instead.

The two black shadows on the top and bottom of the far right hand side were a really nice surprise... They're extremely black and go on very nice. They are two different blacks in color but as black as they are you can hardly tell them apart. The top one has tiny iridescent glitter that is barely noticeable and that is fine for me and the bottom black has blue small/medium sparkles that are a little more visible I guess you could say the top one is warm black and the bottom one is cooler black but they are still very very black and that is really really nice. I've bought so many black shadows that just don't show up above dark gray or false black, these are beautiful deep dark black shadows without looking cheap yet they are still just light enough that you could see your black eyeliner on top of them with an attentive glance. They also go on nicely with good coverage and don't flake or dust all over the place like your face... They stick and stay. All of the other colors give a nice variety of what you would use in your crease and on your bow. This is a really good affordable palette. When I need to replace this I will definitely buy again. I would have given 4 stars instead of 5 because I like the assurance that my purchases arrive unharmed and without further hassle but I realize that this item was very inexpensive and that's probably due to not spending more on packaging in order to provide a very affordable product to the customers. I do appreciate the sellers consideration for price. So, 5 stars for timely arrival, affordable and product quality. ... show more

The only positive thing I can say about L.A.colors is that they are cheap. Other than that even cheap is a waste of money. I bought the Twilight pallet and it came with a missing piece, a used blender and the eyeshadow crumbling all over the place. Also, the color of the eyeshadows did not even remotely match the website photo. Even though it was only $3, I decided to return it because the other option was to throw it away. But I will never buy another L. A. product on Amazon again. Many of their products are available at Dollar Tree so at least you can see what you’re getting. ... show more
