I bought this as a Christmas present for my fiance last year because he has a lot of back pain and is a manual laborer. He doesn't have heated seats in his car (which he really liked for pain relief) so this was for use during his lunch breaks or at home. The massager fit his computer chair nicely but he's is 6ft 2in so this extra padding on his car seat made things a little uncomfortable. He really loves how the massager moves up and down his back and really works his back muscles. We received this quickly. It was well boxed and it arrived in perfect condition. My wife normally doesn't like this kind of thing, but after trying this one, she realized that it works very well. This appears to made of very nice materials and is put together well, with no part of it looking cheaply made. The remote control is dead-simple to use and each function works very well. I've read that some of the shorter built people say it doesn't reach certain parts of their back, but my wife and I are both on the taller side, and it runs up and down our backs just perfectly. I often just put it on "Demo" and let it go through all of the functions (Heat, 2D, 3D and Rolling), which seems to do the trick for me, but if a certain area needs extra attention, I love how I can use the Spot function (like on the bottom edge of my shoulder blades), and just find the tight spots. I position the Shiatsu massage rollers right below it, and then periodically move it up an inch or so at a time, and let it do its work on each area for a while until the knots are chased away. I investigated a number of different brands, but this unit had the better reviews and checked off all of the boxes for me. Are we happy with it? You bet we are! I bought this to use at work, in December 2021. Very satisfying! Great for relieving the tension in my back caused from hovering at the desk all day and stress. Recently (August 2023) the shiatsu feature stopped working. It still vibrates on the seat, heats up, and rolls up and down my back, though. However, I really need the shiatsu for the deep tissue massage for the inside of my shoulder blades. The shiatsu operates in circles which offers wider coverage. The warranty was for a year, so I have to buy a new one but I'm going to keep the old one for the couch at home. I'm giving it 1 star less than perfect because it should last longer than 2 years. ... show more

The Shiatsu massage felt good, for as far as it went. The range of travel for the massage heads was neither low enough nor high enough. I'm 6'2", tall, but not unusually so, and the upper range of the massage barely got to my shoulder blades. The lower did not reach down past my waist. My massager was also defective, in that the right massage head "jumped" when it reached about halfway up, but Amazon returns are easy, and stuff sometimes breaks, so I'm not mad about that. But I did return it and will look for something with more range. ... show more

I just got this I have to say as soon as I plugged it in, I sat on it and enjoyed the ride. It was wonderful what a relief I felt on my back. Everything about this mat is great, including the price. Easy to use and to carry around the house if you don't want to put it in an office chair. You can put it anywhere. Well, I have to say I am happy this is only the first few hours of bliss.
