Under normal use, during operation, cooktop popped and cracked over halfway of the surface within 6 weeks after installation. Couldn't make contact with seller to get replaced under warranty. Thankfully had purchased product protection from Asurion.

Incredible cooktop that works like a dream. This was so easy to us-- you literally just plug it in and it's ready to go. It sits on top of your counter, basically like a hotplate, but, you can also build it into your countertop. The touch functions respond well and the heat levels are consistent. It lacks accurate temperature control and it does not heat correctly. I would expect this to work better and loud obnoxious beeping for buttons as well.

This electric cooktop is a complete letdown. Its heating elements are wildly inconsistent, making cooking a frustrating guessing game. Not to mention the quality, with a surface that scratches easily and cheap, films knobs - look elsewhere for a reliable cooktop.
