This item is really good, it’s very quiet and it works as it should, the only downfall is the cord that plugs in is about a foot long give or take and it plugs into the front of the machine so depending on how your location will be set up. You’re pretty much facing the wall. Other than the cord being short, definitely recommend this. And this is also really compact and can fit in tight spaces to put away. ... show more

Compact, quiet and easy to use. I am 5’ 6” and have a long stride and I am able to use this walking pad with comfort. The price was unbeatable, and I love that there is a remote and the safety clip. I’ve seen some reviews stating the walking pad doesn’t work and shows E14 error. That is the error when the safety clip is not in use, so be sure that connect the magnet to the yellow circle on the display screen to clear the error and use. ... show more

    • Potential Safety Hazard: Motor Cuts Out Randomly After 2 Minutes (Defective Unit)

I purchased the Smug Compact Armless Treadmill hoping for a simple, space-saving solution for walking while working. While the design is indeed compact and the unit is quiet when it actually runs, my experience was cut short by a critical mechanical failure right out of the box. The Issue: Setup was straightforward, but the unit arrived defective. Upon powering it on, the treadmill starts up normally. However, after running for anywhere between 30 seconds to 2 minutes, the belt stops abruptly without warning. This isn't a gradual slow-down; it is an instant halt. If you are walking at a brisk pace when this happens, it poses a significant safety risk as the sudden stop can easily cause you to stumble or fall forward. Troubleshooting: I checked the manual to ensure the belt was lubricated and that the power source was stable. The remote works to start the machine, but the motor simply cannot sustain operation for more than a couple of minutes before failing. Pros: Compact footprint (fits well under a desk). Motor is quiet before it fails. Cons: Defective Motor/Electronics: Unit is unusable due to random shutdowns. Safety Risk: The abrupt nature of the belt stopping is dangerous. Reliability: Failed immediately upon first use. Verdict: I cannot recommend this product based on the unit I received. A walking pad needs to be reliable to be safe, and having the belt slam to a halt randomly makes this unusable. I will be returning this immediately. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Only one use so far, so can’t speak to longevity, but good experience so far. Super easy to set up out of the box, runs smoothly, pretty quiet. The pad sets up easy enough. Probably okay for young people with excellent balance. Very limited stepping area, so easy to get onto the side rail and fall. The speed ratio is wayyyyy off. Pad is considerably slower than the speed listed. Works okay, and maybe my balance will get better, but use care before purchasing. ... show more

Wonderful treadmill. Smaller than the pictures make it look, more compact. Which is perfect for me. Work in a shared office space and it doesn’t take much room at all. It is lightweight and I leave it resting against the wall when not in use. I am 200lb 5’10, and although it is so compact, it is just right for me. The only thing I had to learn to not to drift while walking, and I have to position it centered under my desk so my full stride is covered. But that is easy enough to get used to. Read ALL the directions fully; KEEP the directions for longevity maintenance (applying lubricant ~once per month, adjusting band tension as needed, etc.) NOTE: the first hour or so of use, keep your eye on the bad in case it drifts from left to right. They give you an Allen wrench and the instructions describe how to adjust it. I needed to tighten/loosen every 15 minutes, but after the first hour or so of use the belt was adjusted enough and no longer drifted. Now I walk a few hours per day. Very quiet; I walk at about 2.5 MPH for an hour and my coworkers say it is just white noise to them. (I don’t use it to jog so I don’t know how high speeds effect it) I have it on a very low pile carpet and that may help with the sound, idk. I plan to use it every week day for a couple hours a day, and I bought the 2 year protection plan and I’ll report back if any issues arise. (Fyi the error codes some reviews mention show up if you don’t attach the red safety magnet, or if your ground surface is not level). Also, I love that the the remote has a ‘mute’ ability to turn off the beeping sound that occur every time you adjust the controls. I got this on January sale for $95 after quite a bit of window shopping. So far 5 stars. ... show more
