I went from “guy who occasionally burns burgers” to “certified backyard smoke wizard.” My neighbors can’t even hang laundry anymore because the air now has a permanent hint of mesquite. You’re welcome, Janet. This thing smokes like it’s training for a chimney Olympics. Once lit, it puffed away longer than my grandpa’s old pipe and with less backtalk. It didn’t go out, didn’t sputter, didn’t beg for attention — just quietly turned my meat into smoky poetry. The flavor was so good I considered writing it a thank-you note (but it was too busy making my next batch of ribs taste like divine intervention). The “latest upgrade” must stand for “Smokes More, Quits Never.” The holes are so precise it looks like it was engineered by NASA and blessed by Saint Brisket himself. Cleanup? Easy. Just tap it out, and it’s ready to puff again like a chain-smoking dragon. Honestly, if you love smoke, flavor, and feeling superior to everyone without one of these tubes, grab it. Your taste buds will thank you, your grill will respect you, and your neighbors will start “dropping by” suspiciously close to dinner. Final verdict: 10/10 would smoke again.

UPDATE: I’m happy to say that the company replaced this with another one and so far, it’s working perfect!!! This really is a great item, when working properly. Adds a lot of smoke! Purchased this unit about one month ago. It was perfect until recently. It does not put out any smoke now and I have contacted the sellers which does not give me a lot of hope. I’ve sent them ALL of the info and pics that they requested but have not heard anything back. Should they make good on this purchases, I will update my review. As for now, I wouldn’t recommend this product. I’ve included pics so you can see there is hardly any smoke coming out.

The packaging and instructions were incredible. They even provided the tools. I have it up and running! The only complaint I have is that it did not come with a power adapter. This amazed me. After all, it’s a great design and an obvious amount of care went into the instructions. It came with an USB cable but Instead of providing the adapter block, they chose to put a note in the box warning that if the adapter you use exceeds 7v it will burn the unit out. And if the current is lower than 2A the unit won’t run. I’m not an electrician and Google only confused things more. So I’m setting here feeling nervous and fingers crossed that I am not frying the unit. COME ON FOLKS! Really?!

Does this thing smoke...? Absolutely. It smokes more than my pellet smoker and is way more efficient at creating smoke than anything I have seen. Why 3 stars though? The thing is a total mess to clean. The directions say to use drain cleaner to get the tar out of the device, but what a mess. It stinks up everything it is around. I think this is probably the same experience you will have with any little smoker like this, but I am debating if the smoke is worth the hassle of cleanup. It is: Easy to assemble Easy to use (make sure you already have a battery source for it, that is not included) Super Smokey Very low temperature for cold smoking Good at creating flavorful smoked Lox Super hard to clean Stinky and makes things around it smell

Negative star ratings are not possible! At first I had great success with the product. No problems with lighting or keeping it lit. I could say there was maybe even too much smoke, but placing the output pipe closer to the chimney on my smoker helped. But it was mentioned in another review, the small brass colored pipe that acts as a venturi blowing air from the air pump broke off and got lost. Even if it wasn't lost, it wouldn't have been able to be reatached as the fitting was broken off. No abuse or heavy handling on my part. The frustrating thing is there is no way to ask for a warranty part or replacement of the whole device. There isn't any contact information for the seller, and no options from Amazon to resolve this hopeless situation. Unless Amazon or the seller reaches out, I would say DO NOT BUY THUS PRODUCT. For me, as of now, my smoke generator is a useless brick and a caution to not be tempted to shop based on price. Please help me if anyone has any information on getting warranty support. I would love to change my review.

The media could not be loaded. Update: If you can believe it, there may almost be TOO much smoke. At first I lit both sides of the tube and started using wood chips instead of pellets. There was a crazy amount of smoke, so I started lighting just one side and putting the motor on low. There was STILL a LOT of smoke. The cheese that I smoked for about 45 minutes had an extremely strong smoke flavor. I think I'm actually going to vent the cap on the small tube to reduce the smoke amount. Never thought I'd say that there was too much smoke, but this thing is CRAZY. Not a bad problem to have, but just something you may have to adjust to get the right about of smoke for your preference. I haven't actually smoked any meat yet, but I put it together and loaded it up with pellets to try it out. It puts out a crazy account of smoke, even on the lowest setting. It was very easy to put together and easy to light. It's been running for about 2 hours so far and it hasn't used hardly any pellets. Since it's cool outside I went ahead and put some cheese on the smoker. Haven't tried the cheese, since it's still smoking but, so far, I'm impressed.
