So the clock overall was smaller than I expected. Looked at lots of units, and was mildly surprised this one didn't have auto set but that's not a problem for me in fact sometimes it's an advantage bc my autoset ones occasionally just go weird and you can't fix it. So, that's OK. Put in battery backup, and I'm good if the power goes out. Easy and intuitive to set. Alarms are clear switches so you won't accidentally have one on. And there are 2 if 2 people need alarms. The temp and humidity seem pretty accurate. I like that the screen can be bright in day and with an easy touch go totally dark at night. The projection can switch directions and is bright enough and in focus but it is SMALL. MUCH smaller than other projection clocks I've had. I read this in the reviews and thought well, these people just didn't know how to adjust it. Well, it turns out they were right! There really is no adjustment on the projector aside from flipping direction. My eyes are OK with this - my spouse's eyes... not so much. I'd say from a distance of 4 feet to the ceiling the projection size is maybe 3" high? maybe only 2. It's not the 10" numbers I'm used to. So, it's OK, and I'm keeping it because it meets all the other specs I wanted - temp, humidity, date and day, goes dark etc. but the projection size is definitely something that could be a show stopper for a lot of people.

Finally, an easy to set up, easy to understand projection alarm clock. We enjoy projecting the time on the ceiling when sleeping and this clock does not disappoint. The three level dimmer for the main clock means no more "bright light" to disrupt our sleep. Buy it.

The projection feature is easy to see/read at night. I really like being able to slide a finger over the bar on the top of the clock to adjust the brightness. The temperature read out is a little small on the "face" of the clock (would have like it a little larger to be able to see it at night without making the read out brighter. The temperature is not included on the projection feature which I would have liked. Also, I didn't think to check to see if the alarm was already set when I set up the clock. It was and woke me up out of sound sleep when it went off; and when you're old, it's hard to get back to sleep. :-( Seems like good clock, but have only had it a week or so. The negatives I've mentioned are minor, and I would recommend this clock.

This clock had everything that I was looking for, or so I thought. It has several nice features, especially for the price, but there are a couple of design flaws that can negate those features. Pros: The screen has several lighting settings, including having the light completely off. The temperature feature seems to be fairly accurate, and the unit is very compact, so it doesn't take up a lot of room on my night stand. The numbers on the screen are fairly large, so they are easily read. Cons: The biggest downfall to this clock is its instability. The bottom of the base is very small and the clock is somewhat top heavy, so with the least little movement, the clock falls over. Also, the electrical cord comes out of the clock near the bottom, so this adds more instability to it. Another con is the projection. The best way to describe the projection issue is that the color bleeds from the numbers, so there's a red circle around the time being projected (photo attached). It's also very bright and there is no way to adjust the projection lighting. It would be nice to be able to dim this feature because I believe this would help soften the bleeding of the light and it would make the projection easier to read.
