So i saw this cute doorbell system, and these things i am familiar with because they are a cute and clever way that teachers manage classroom behavior. How that works is that teachers often press this button when they want the kids to stop acting rowdy and pay attention instead of trying to raise their voices over the din of talking. In the classroom i work in, we use our as an actual doorbell, because our room is for children with autism and sometime when things start getting a little crazy, we cant always hear someone knocking on the door that need t come in. Originally i purchased this doorbell thinking the classroom i work in could use another one, and that we might be able to get the kids to respond positively to second door bell as a a way to manage behavior, but then it occured to me, that may take more time to teach them to respond to the doorbell than we are willing to commit and that i could use this doorbell at home to manage my own teenagers more easily. no. not quite how you are thinking, as i think it would be condescending to ring the bell when i think my own two kids are a little too rowdy or talking too much, but it did occur to me that i could use it to call them for dinner on the other side of the house! IT WORKS PERFECT! obviously i told my kids how i intended the doorbell to work, and that when i rang it from the kitchen, they were expected to report to the kitchen for whatever they were being summon for. This has, in the short week since I stuck it to a magnet on my fridge, saved a significant amount of time and energy for my husband and myself, as we have not had to shout across the house repeatedly or go and fetch our children from their rooms because they couldn't hear us calling through their headphones. So the device is nice and loud, and i love that you can change the tune to suit your mood. I chose a Beethoven song that had an especially shrill ring to it so it would be more audible than the other rings. An it a pretty tune so I hope it is less annoying in the long term. I suppose if you are a more typical human, you could also use this as an actual doorbell too. (lol) I am actually considering getting a second doorbell so i can put a receiver in each of their rooms, making better use of the flashy light function on the device, and just being extra certain that my kids are going to hear it. In that situation we would also have another push button to use that i could then place in another location making it easy to summon them under more circumstance.

This thing is basically impossible to set up. It’s advertised as compatible with Google Nest, but Google Home doesn’t recognize it at all during setup. I followed the instructions step by step, and the manual was no help because it doesn’t match the prompts you actually get in the app. On top of that, the positive reviews seem misleading. They appear to be for a completely different product (one that pairs with a camera), not this one. That made me think I was doing something wrong at first, but it turns out the issue is with the product itself. Definitely frustrating and not worth the hassle.

The Good: Plug and play, so simple to use. The transmitter and receiver were very easy to pair. The set includes a sticky pad to attach the doorbell where you want it, along with a spare pad if you change you mind on the bell location. The doorbell transmitter signal has no problems reaching the receiver and triggering the bell. The sound volume is adjustable and can be heard well in any room of our 1000sqft house, as well as being heard by the person at the door when they press the doorbell button. The array of chime choices is enormous, so many of them that I got tired of pushing to button to listen to choose one. Most of them sound just like a cell-phone ring tone so I ended up choosing a regular ding-dong chime that sounds like a doorbell. The Bad: The instruction booklet says to not install on metal doors. My front and back doors are metal and so is my siding. This important detail is not mentioned in the product description. The receiver is too big to share an outlet, it takes up it's own space and infringes on the other plug. Since it is round, it does not matter which outlet you plug it into - the top one or the bottom one - it obstructs either one. I ended up plugging it into a surge suppressor with horizontal wide-spaced outlets. Notes: Myself, I change my mind more often than not so I used nano-tape dots to attach magnets to the doorbell transmitter housing so I can move it any time the mood strikes. This doorbell set (with the magnets) works fine on my metal doors. I can see this set being useful indoors for calling family to dinner, or as a call-button for an invalid.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4.5/5) This wireless doorbell kit works exactly as expected 👍. Setup was quick and easy—just plug in the receiver and pair it with the transmitter. I like that it has multiple volume levels, so it’s easy to adjust for different rooms, and the LED flash is a nice bonus for noisy environments or if you need a visual alert. The 32 melody options give plenty of choices, and the sound is clear and loud without being harsh 🔊. Overall, it’s a simple, affordable doorbell that does the job well. Ny old wired doorbell finally gave up the ghost, and I was dreading the thought of fishing new wires through the walls to replace it. I decided to give this simple wireless kit a try, and I am absolutely thrilled with it. I think it genuinely took me longer to unbox this kit than it did to get it up and running. You stick the transmitter button to the doorframe with the included adhesive, plug the receiver into any wall outlet, and... that's it. You're done. The whole process takes less than a minute. And it works flawlessly. The receiver is surprisingly loud on its highest setting, easily heard all over the house. The flashing LED light is a great visual cue that you can't miss. I'm sticking with the classic "ding-dong," but it's fun to know I have 31 other options, including some festive holiday chimes if I ever feel like it. For something so affordable, this is a fantastic and effective solution. It's simple, reliable, and does its job perfectly. An easy five stars.
