I bought this for my 9-year-old’s birthday, and it has been a massive hit! The setup was incredibly straightforward; the App connected via Bluetooth almost instantly, and we were able to start exploring the 30+ interactive actions right away. The custom programming feature is the real standout. It’s a fantastic way to introduce STEM concepts without it feeling like "schoolwork." My kids love creating long sequences of tricks—the precision motors make the movements (especially the handstands and dancing) look remarkably smooth. It’s built with durable, high-quality ABS plastic, surviving a few accidental tumbles down our hardwood hallway without a scratch. For a programmable robot pet that works seamlessly with both iOS and Android, the value for money is unbeatable. It’s easily the coolest gadget in our house!

Closest I'll Get to Owning a Boston Dynamics Dog (And Honestly, It's Hilarious) Ever since I saw the Boston Dynamics robot dog, I’ve always wanted one… but let’s be real, I’m not dropping that kind of money. This little robo-dog is the next best thing, and it's been an absolute blast to play with. It comes loaded with a bunch of fun presets and runs way longer than I expected on a single charge. Some of the programmed movements are straight-up comedy gold. The exercise routine is a riot, karate mode cracks me up, and the family favorite? The peeing one. (Yeah, we’re that kind of weird—and we own it.) I’ve had this bot for a bit now, and let’s just say… my real dog is not a fan. Pretty sure he thinks he’s being replaced. Don’t worry, buddy—your job is safe. You don’t even need to be charged. Power, Controls & Custom Programming Comes with 1 rechargeable battery for the robot. Remote requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). Lose the remote? No problem—you can use your phone as a controller. App works well on Android, but iOS 26 is not currently supported (I’ll update my review when that changes). (I'm using an older Android phone, which worked just fine.) Now here’s one of the coolest features: You can create your own custom motion sequences using both the app and the remote. Just program the moves in your chosen order, hit execute, and watch your robo-dog perform the routine like it’s auditioning for robot Broadway. Cool Features One surprise I loved: you can control more than one robo-dog with a single remote. I had two running at once and it felt like I had my own little platoon of mechanical mutts. That opens up some wild play possibilities. I really love that there are multiple ways to control the dog, especially through the app. I can see even more potential here—future updates could add voice commands, maybe even custom sound effects or responses(Through the phone). Just a few Gripes: The Voice If I had to nitpick anything, it’s the voice. The current audio has a very thick accent and can be hard to understand at times. With modern AI voice tools out there, I feel like this could be a huge improvement in the next version. Motion: Since there is no movement in the leg at the knee or elbow joint it, has no grip on tile or rug. (do not know about laminate) But give it some time and you can get it to go where you want it to. Easy Charging + Fun for All Ages Charging is easy—just use the included cable and plug it into any USB-A port. And yes, it’s just as fun for adults as it is for kids. Case in point: my mom played with this thing for 30 straight minutes and had it peeing all over the house (virtually, of course). We were dying laughing. Final Verdict: It’s funny, it’s interactive, and it’s got serious potential. The ability to custom program your own routines, plus dual control via app or remote, makes this robo-dog a surprisingly powerful little companion. Whether you’re a grown-up kid or shopping for your actual kids, this robo-dog is tons of fun out of the box, and I’m genuinely excited to see what future updates will bring.

Very slow. Cheap remote. Not appropriate for children. It’s got a “naughty” button. I’ll leave that to your imagination. I do not recommend at this time.

This robot dog is really fun to play with. The design looks very cool and the movements are smooth. It’s easy to control with both the remote and the app. It can perform many different actions and tricks which makes it very entertaining. The quality feels good for the price and overall I’m very happy with it.

The picture matches the real product. It’s quite cute and can do a few preprogrammed tricks. The only con might be it’s a little loud when it moves ( scared a small baby into desperate crying ). I’m still working on to figure out all the functions. It seems there’s a lot the dog can do. I only used the controller so far, not sure how the app works.

Un excelente regalo para niños de 2 a 4 años. En las vueltas, batalla un poco. Pero en si está muy bien.

I hate to be critical because I love robots so much, but I have a few complaints. 1) the voice is kind of annoying. It's English, but with a fairly strong accent. I have no problem with the Chinese language, but I feel like they could have found a better voice actor. 2) it has that stupid RC battery thing that looks like an AA battery with leads coming off it. Please just make the robot able to charge with a USB. I don't want to have to remove the battery door and battery every time I want to charge it. 3) I've had intermittent issues with the controller being unable to connect with the robot. I'm currently fighting this issue right now. 4) it is unable to right itself if it ends up on its back. I know that would be a complicated feature to include, so I'm not mad. I'm just saying. 5) the programming on some features could have been better thought out. I bought my kid a bunch of robots for Christmas, so I can't remember if this one can be programmed or not, but just keep that in mind if you're an obsessive adult who loves robots, lol. Positives: 1) my seven year old daughter LOVES it. 2) it has some pretty cute programming. 3) who doesn't love a Boston dynamics-style quadruped? 4) the face is adorable 5) even my two year old loves it and interacting with it, even if he doesn't have good control over it.
