Works well enough. Not a great fit, and seems that you'd need to remove handle to 'install' the cover, as opposed to just putting a slot for the handle to pass through. Fits perfect and definitely reduces heat loss. 2 drawbacks are magnets are not very strong for holding to shell of grill and you have to physically hold the lid open otherwise it was close on you.

I love this product. I am using my grill for a number of functions, replacing what I used to use my oven for. Using the grill insulation blanket keeps my grill working efficiently during the winter. Love this product.

I got a GMG Davey Crockett smoker for Christmas and was itching to use it. I bought this cover instead of the GMG branded one because I could get it quicker (the GMG version was actually a bit less expensive). Since then, I have done smokes with the weather in the teens with no issues maintaining temperature. If you smoke year-round, the cover is probably a necessity and will likely pay for itself in pellet savings. I'd consider leaving it on year-round, but the cover makes it hard to keep the lid open when tending to the food. This is the only real drawback I've found with it. ... show more
