Update: I was able to unplug the entire thing, and replug it in and it connected to wifi. I also checked the app and noticed that there was a new software update. Since updating, I haven't had any issues - I'm not sure if what I was experiencing was just a bug of one of the versions but things seem to be fixed for now. Love that I'm able to set it to turn on around dusk and don't have to get up or even open an app to find my way around as the sun goes down. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It took SEVERAL attempts to get it to connect to the WiFi and now it almost is never connected when I go to the app. Without being WiFi enabled, it's kind of pointless. I was hoping it would make it so that I could turn on lights when I'm away but I guess not. I could not install them. I kept following the instructions, and nothing would work. The instructions said to look at the instructions and follow the instructions. OK, in fairness, you have to realize that these do not come on when you plug them in. The first part of the instructions say to plug them in and turn them on it is two separate steps. You plug them in turn them on and then go through the pairing routine. My bad, I am having more luck with him now. And they work as directed. Once you figure out what’s going on ... show more

I have these plugs connected to my echo dot and my light is plugged into it. Some days the plug doesn’t recognize the command or doesn’t turn the lights on then does later and it’s weird. Overall I really enjoy them because the lights it’s connected to is difficult to access and will stay on all the time otherwise. Very useful :) ... show more

Super easy to set up. Used one for my flag light. Replaces a timer that was susceptible to power outages. Set Alexa routine to come on at dusk… and go off at sunrise. Chesty Puller would be proud.
