The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: This solved a problem I didn't even know I had. How to get in to the house when it is pitch dark and you forgot to turn the porch lights on. No problem (see the video). That, and the fact that I'm just going to hide the physical keys somewhere means that this thing ROCKS!. No real need for a locksmith. And the best thing: my old-school wife is warming up to it. Six stars when she's all in? PRIOR REVIEW: It looks good and the handles feel good in the hand. Nice and smooth, seems to be pretty decent quality. Installation was easy and the unit looks nice. Fingerprint setup, card reader setup, password setup all went very smoothly. Physical keys work fluidly without any binding at all. Smooth bolt action (bolt seems to be hollow???), all good. the card readers (fobs) only work from a very close distance, you need to graze the reader pad. I was hoping for something more powerful like a car-key fob that communicates with the door even though it is in my pocket, but I don't think that tech is used in any of these smart locks. The manufacturer answered this question: Can I buy three units (front, back, garage doors) and have the physical keys match and open all doors. Answer: No (one star lost) I will have to have a locksmith come out and rekey them. Of course, codes and fingerprints can be reused so that may not even be an issue for most people who want to ditch the key-fumbling. Some day I will paint over the old hardware's shadow but it's not terrible-looking the way it is. Good stuff, totally recommended if you need just one. MAYBE a premier brand would be able to send three units with matching keys, avoiding the additional cost I will incur with these. Or perhaps I return this and look for a company that CAN do that! OR... hide all the keys in the back yard OR... just hide one to give access to the house, as I would do even with a higher-end unit. ... show more

I took a long time looking for a lock with good features and that also looked nice as others I’ve tried looked nice online but were not in person. After seeing this lock I LOVED it and when it came I loved it more it looks so fancy and expensive but the price was great for all you get. The programming so so easy and fast to do and it has a lot of features. I had an issue and I called their customer service on a Sunday and they got back to me and helped so fast! After Sales customer service has been more than wonderful. Agent "Winter" has been great in assisting me with a few concerns I had with both the IC Cards (fob) and also the physical keys. I am 75+ years old and I had my brother-in-law install the lock for me. Installation was very easy, he said, and he had installed in less than 10 minutes. He will be soon be back to program the lock. Currently I am using the physical keys. The lock works well and is very smooth in locking and unlocking. I love everything about the lock so far.....I bought the SILVER one and it matches perfectly with the color of my RING doorbell (also SILVER)... see attached photos. I always wanted a SMART ELECTRONIC LOCK and this SMONET lock can't be beat in functionality, looks, Digital Keypad, The Fingerprint featur and IC Cards etc. Thanks Winter for all of your help. I bought this lock for my mom. She has 6 kids and wanted an easier way to let us in her house without us all needing a key. The installation process was very easy and the instructions made it simple to understand. However I was trying to connect the lock with the app it wouldn’t connect to the phone. We tried multiple different phones and thing but nothing worked. So I reached out the the customer service and they helped me figure out that the lock was defective and sent us a new lock within a few days. Very solid product. I love the auto lock timer that you can personalize. The fingerprint is very nice and even works for someone who constantly has dirty hands from my line of work. The best part of the company is the customer service I received. I had a faulty lock and within 4 hours Elaine reached out to me via what's app and trouble shot my lock. After all was said and done they sent me a free lock and gave me a1 year extended warranty for free. On top of all that they gave me a 30 dollar amazon card for my trouble. The new lock works perfect and it was a headache free process. I'm not the kind of person to give out compliments so freely but I am so very pleased with this company and their product but especially their customer service department and how quick and efficient they were. After a long time to do it, I decided to change the lock on our front house door, so I decided to get the SMONET keyless Entry Door Lock best decision I made, when I did the initial set up with the Next Lock App on my Android it was not issues at all and it was easy, except on my spouse iPhone with have issues to get it set up. We decided to call the SMONET team directly and had an excellent customer service from Elaine, she responded quickly with kindness and respect and also provided tons of value and service, last but not least the issue was solved.
