First let me say for me the install took me longer than most, ( 1.5 hrs.) but that was also true for the last key bolt lock system and I blame that on my home builder for poor alignment of the lock they installed. Because of this my old lock always was a pain to engage and we often forgot to lock the door at night. So I decided to purchase a new lock and I liked the features that were described with his lock. After installing I really liked the fact the bolt rod was longer and engaging of the bolt was really smooth but yet there was no obvious play at all. No more forgetting to lock the door at night because it can set to auto lock which I really like. The auto lock has several time activations which is nice the longest delay being 1 minute, personally I would like to see a longer delay of five minutes offered as well but overall, I’m happy with this feature. Note: you can turn auto lock off if you like using the app. Other features I really like are the many ways you can unlock the door. I don’t need another key on my key ring in case the garage door doesn’t open I can use a pass code or my fingerprint. It does use an NFC Card as well which is cool but I issued these to family members. Also, I should mention that I was very impressed with the fingerprint feature because it actually works better than my phone, I never had to place my finger on it more than twice to get it to work. Another feature is you can issue temporary pass codes in the app that either have time limits or one time use limits pretty cool. The app also shows you both successful and failed accesses and if the door is currently opened or closed. It would be nice if I could open the door remotely but it’s not a negative when you consider all the other options. I’m really impressed with all the technology it makes use of and so far, I have no complaints. I can’t comment on battery life because only have had it a month but the app still shows the battery life as high. Finally, there is a video someone posted on you tube which I found to be helpful on installing and programming. I’m sure I could have done it without the YouTube video but it saves time reading everything thoroughly and reassures you you’re going about everything correctly. Definitely would recommend.

I’m thrilled with this Smart Lock! Setup was super easy, and the multiple unlock options—fingerprint, passcode, fob, key, and app—make it incredibly convenient. Yeah, I'm a dork and it's probably stupid to be this excited about a smart door lock, but rarely have I ordered something and been this blown away. I've had three different smart locks over the past 12 years and this is BY FAR the best at this amazing price point. When I began my quest to find the "perfect" smart lock, I was mainly hoping to find one that I could unlock with my finger print and that I could track entry/exits on an app. This lock does all that and more! (The finger print unlock option is amazing when you're trying to get into the house with an arm full of groceries, while simultaneously wrangling a feral toddler). I was hoping to also find an lock that worked gave alerts through an app. At first, I struggled to find anything under $100 dollars that fit those Wishlist items... until I found the gem. It's borderline ridiculous how many ways it allows you to open the door: Key, code, card FOB, app, finger print. Most locks on the market only come with two keys. This came with SIX! Wild! I always end up spending money making several more copies for my parents, neighbor, etc, so that's a definite bonus. This also comes with two card FOBs as well. Installation was easy. It's basically the same as any other smart lock I've installed.. This brings up my only slightly negative critique... the instructions could have been better written. It's a Chinese Company and you can tell that by reading the instructions. That being said, it's pretty simple and the instructions aren't horrible. The hardware installation was simple and pretty easy to follow with the instructions given. There are also a couple good Youtube instructional videos that are better than the instructional video made by the company. I didn't really need these videos to set-up the lock. But I checked them out anyway. The programing instructions provided could have been better and those videos were more helpful for that. Side note on installation: as I said before, the installation was basically the same as my last two smart locks. However, this one also has a screw at the bottom, so you'll need to either take off the door knob to access it or use an L shaped screw driver. I'm sure you could get away with out installing the last screw, but taking off a door knob is easy. This an initial review as I've only been using it for a month. But smart locks aren't really known for longevity and this comes with a three year warranty. Rock on!

This lock was simple to set up and works smoothly with all the options—fingerprint, passcode, fob, key, and the app. I like the auto-lock feature for peace of mind, and the one-touch lock is super convenient when I’m rushing out the door. The built-in WiFi makes remote control easy, and it feels solid and weatherproof on the door. Looks sleek in black and makes life a lot easier.

While this should have been an easy set up, it has been anything but easy. The lock installed perfectly. However, it is supposed to connect to WiFi so you can use the app. My lock does not allow you to push the button to connect to WiFi. I have been in contact with customer service repeatedly and they are zero help. They have sent me the instruction booklet and videos which do not help if the button won’t light up. I’ve tried factory resetting the lock multiple times and had no luck. If it would do what they say it is supposed to do, I think the lock would work. The other features work: fingerprint, code (but beware because it has to be a six digit code), keys…all of these ways to unlock it. Just not the app like it says.
