I bought the lock for my patio access door. Installation was easy until I hit a snag. The small cable that connects the front keypad to the inside part white the battery pack was defective. If routed through the small round hole as indicated in the instructions it bends so much that when the inside part is bolted together it losses power. I tried putting it together many ways without success. I reached out to customer service and they were super responsive and I guess this is a known issue as they sent me a replacement unit right away. I found that if the cable is routed through the higher part of the mounting plate it does not bend as much and works fine. Now is all working ok and so far it’s been two weeks working without issues. Overall very happy with the lock and very impressed with the level of customer service.

I recently upgraded my home security with the Smonet Smart Lock, and it has truly transformed the way I think about safety and convenience. The included step-by-step instructions and user friendly app made setup and installation easy. Not to mention, Excellent Customer Service from Winter @ Smonet Smart Lock tech support, who was able to answer all my doubts and concerns about the lock in a promptly and efficient manner. The Smonet app is very user-friendly. I can control the lock remotely (using a hub), manage access permissions for family and guests, and receive real-time alerts on my smartphone. It's a game-changer for convenience and peace of mind. The feature that I like the most is having "Access Control" - Granting temporary access to guests, or service providers has never been easier. The Smonet Smart Lock allows me to assign unique codes and set specific access times, giving me full control over who enters my home. In summary, this is our first Smonet Smart Lock and we are planning on buying more for the house since it has exceeded our expectations . It combines robust security features with a user-friendly app, making it an essential addition to any home. If you're looking for a smart lock that delivers both security and convenience, I would totally give it 5 stars and highly recommend it to others!

Installation was easy but the striker plate was too small to replace my existing one. Kept the existing plate it works. Does not cover as much area on the door outside as inside. It should not have been a problem but when I removed the old electronic lock discovered previous installer put a hole in the door which is not covered.

We’ve had our lock for a while now. Super easy to use and has been safe and handy when we’ve had to allow a family member to enter the home without us there. Has tons of options like creating multiple finger prints and also issuing out permanent and temporary finger prints. We have a big family and are always on the go. I use the app with the lock and I receive notifications of who and when the door gets unlocked. There is also an option of an automatic lock that will happen at a time you choose. We have used this also and it has been convenient with having kids and them not always locking the door behind them. I don’t think we will ever go back to a regular lock after owning one of these. We’ve also had issues in the past that were resolved quickly and professionally with an email to the maker. All around great product and service!

Bought the first one NOV22. It was easy to install. The fingerprint feature never worked but the keycode, tag and app did. That one lasted 3 weeks before failing to lock/unlock. The deadbolt basically wouldn't move. Contacted supplier and they sent a new one. That one lasted 7 months before doing the same. The batteries need to be changed every month or so. I've contacted them again but I think these are just too cheaply made to be of worth. They're protecting your house and family. Or rather they aren't when they don't work!

I bought this Smonet Smart Lock a year ago. <Product install and function> 1. It is vary easy to install. 2. All functions(Key pad, Fingerprint, and app system) are fully functional. SmoNet customer service is really the best as you can see in the review below. A few days ago, there was a problem with my smart lock, so I contacted the customer center. They tested a few things right away and replaced them with new products. I have unlimited trust in SMONET's customer service and products. I was so impressed that I left a review as a first time. Of course, I will buy this company's products again next time.

This lock was recommended by a family member because the love it. We ordered and installed the lock and it was shorting out. We immediately contacted Customer Service and Winter helped us out. She was awesome. Very through and followed up on everything. They sent us a second lock and asked us to send the first one back to be tested. The second lock has been amazing! I love that I know my house is always locked but my sons can get in the house with no key.
