Having trouble programming? As an English speaker very familiar with technical diagrams and instructions I had a heck of a time programming this. The instructions show 1+# to program administrator fingerprint. It is actually 1 and then #. At work I deal with lots of different overseas and domestic companies technical manuals from Samsung, LG, GE, whirlpool and more, I have never seen programming instructions written this way. After applying this logic to remaining steps it programs extremely easily. I got this to keep roommates out of my space. I really like that this has an auto lock feature so I don’t have to remember to lock the door when I step out and I don’t have to fumble with keys opening it when I come back! ... show more

This was just what I was looking for at a very reasonable price. I was a little concerned the quality would be lacking at this price point, but was pleasantly suprised. While being metal constructed, I would not expect it to present a high level of security. I see it more suitable in a roomate situation where you want to keep the casual wanderer out of a room or in an AirBnB where you wanted to isolate a room or closet versus high security, but for the price it seems great. Easy setup and operation. Pros: The versatility with the ability to use a fingerprint, pin or RF ID tag (and a key if the batteried die) is amazing. Installation was easy and a direct swap for the existing door hardware. Lots of memory for many users as well as an admin account needed to make changes. Lot's of options that can be set like turning down the loud "beeps" which is pretty obnoxious out of the box. It just works! Cons: Asthetics are a little blah. Runs on alkaline batteries which need to be changed. Saw a USB port and hoped it was rechargable. This may not even be an issue if it can go for months at a time on a set of batteries. Again, not sure I would want it protecting the front door of my house, but for the right space, I could not recommend this more. I'm very happy. ... show more

this lock works so well no issues except for someone broke it right off to get into my room and the lock doesn’t work now. if you’re looking for something more durable then this is not your best option. it’s very easy to just snap the door handle off even though i superglued the screws beforehand for extra protection. ... show more

This is much better quality than the original design, it's pretty heavy, the instructions are decent easy to read. Installation was a snap. Fingerprint reader is much better when this style first came out, not necessarily this manufacturer just in general. It instantly picked up my fingerprint without any difficulty. RFID takes approximately two seconds to engage the unlock, added quickly to Tuya app, overall, for the price, it's a decent lock.. I think I'll probably get another. ... show more

I'm leaving 4 stars, only because one of the key fobs/ card keys doesn't register or is even recognized at all. But the rest do! I haven't even had to try the key yet, as I was able to program it super fast to my finger print and one other person's. The key fobs that did connect, work well too and were a fast set up. The password works great. I 10/10 recommend. I got this to keep people out of my room when I'm out of town and the amount of safety I feel with leaving my belongings behind, is amazing. I feel reassured that there's an emergency power port too. I don't think I'll need to use it, but it's good to have. 😊 ... show more
