The media could not be loaded. I just had the smart door lock. I bought it for my warehouse since my neighbor couple doors down just got broken into, so I'm looking for a strong lock, and I'm really glad I chose this one. Really astonished by the chic apperance and pratical functions. It has two colors to choose and both look nice for me. Before writing a review, I thought I had problems in assembling the smart device but it has a user manual on which steps are clear and descriptions are easy to read. Spent about half hour in mounting the lock on my front door. Do not mess up any screws set in the package, every small plastic bag has some words reminding you which one should be used in a specific step. Reference drawings are all on the manual so don't worry miss any detail or you can contact Gudlaif service team to assist you. Anyway, the electric lock needs batteries that are not included in the equipment so you have to prepare 4 AAA batteries before or after installatioin. After that, I downloaded its app TTlock and setup the fingerprint, fobs and codes, which are exactly what I wanna purchase the little buddy. I tested the fingerprint function and it works so good! Also I unlock it with keys, fob and passcode and typically, with bluetooth connect my phone to finish my final test. Love the remote control and feel like I'm not an old person living in a previous century! App is free of charge and can show the left power of batteries and recordings of when and how it is unlocked. It saves power and has no noise after I use it for a while. I notice that it can work with Alexa and Google Home and seems that it needs a gateway so I sent a message to Gudlaif service team. Guess what, they say that the company will put it on Amazon in near future! I will buy its Gateway once it is in stock. In short, I love it. If you look for a keyless entry at a good price, the door lock will show you how perfect it can be.

I installed two of these keyless locks and so far I love them! We are doing a complete remodel of an older home and it currently does not have Wi-Fi. Even without Wi-Fi these keyless locks are great - and when we do get Wi-Fi, they will be even better. I set them up using my phone and I love the fact that I have codes as well as fingerprint access and love the app as well. The fingerprint access is so quick and easy to set up and to use and the app allows you to customize many aspects of these locks. I do agree, however, with one other reviewer, who said the little cover for the key to be used as a back up, falls off very easily, which is not great. I ended up putting a little super glue on to keep it on one of them. Unfortunately, the other one also fell off and I can’t locate it so I’m going to have to call support to get a replacement. That is, however, minor and can be easily remedied and other purchasers may want to address this right away when they install. I definitely plan to buy these again. If not for the small issue, I would’ve given five stars.

It took me a few times to go over the instructions before I could figure it out. The part where you use the various sixed screws was not clear to me what they were to attach to, if anyone else has that problem, they attach to fixture, not your door - so the wording asking about the width of your door is not relevant. The cost of this unit is a fraction of what my security company was going to charge me plus installation, this took me about 25-30 minutes to install. Once installed, the app was smooth sailing, it lets you add codes for family members or friends & guests, and also you can setup the fingerprint for family and friends. My kids love that they have their own code and they also have their own fingerprint that will allow them access. The fingerprint is sensitive so you need to make sure you press your fingertip the same direction or it will not register and accept you, the first time I tried, I had a grocery bag in my hand so my finger was at a different angle than when I created the fingerprint code, so I had to adjust the bags and retry to gain entry to my home. It may be a bit inconvenient that each time the door closes, the door locks automatically so you will need to use the code or fingerprint unless you prop your door open. That isn't an issue for me or my family, but it is something that can be annoying to other people. It may also cause you to have to change the batteries more often than you'd like. To change the batteries, you do need to unscrew the tiny screw on the black part of the faceplate to access the battery compartment, the one I had previously just slid off which was more accessible, after I have to replace batteries after the first time, I will post an update if you can leave it without the screw to make it more convenient and will also let you know if the life expectancy for batteries.

I had installed the lock just three days before Christmas, and the installation was straightforward. Initially, both the fingerprint, card, and password features were working perfectly, allowing me to unlock the door easily. However, when my family come back after Christmas Vacation, the lock suddenly became unresponsive, the lcd screen complete black no response, even though the batteries were brand new. I borrowed a power bank from my neighbor and connected it to the USB charging port, but there was still no response. In the end, I waited for an hour outside my home, and a locksmith finally helped me open it. The locksmith examined the lock and said it wasn't a battery issue or a wiring problem; rather, it could be a malfunction in the internal circuit board. It was the worst experience.
