High quality well made door knob. Took a little effort to install but I feel like that was all my fault, though I feel like the manufacturer could have used loctite on the standoffs. The app is easy to manage. And I think it looks really nice. My one complaint is that the print scanner is a little finicky, even after scanning my thumb 5 times I’ve still managed to not get it to scan properly, and if I fail too many scans the knob goes into what I call “panic mode” where i won’t scan at all and or accept the numeric code. I have to pull out the app and unlock it that way. Overall I really like this door knob

So far so good. It's used outdoors and several times a day. No issues yet in the hot sun or rain. Fingerprint sensor gets a little tricky sometimes. Battery seems to be good.

I really wanted this to work. I live in a house with 2 roommates. So far, so good. But if one or both of them leave the owner will select who replaces them, so I want my bedroom door to auto lock and secure my room. I got the first set and a screw didn't fit. There was no way to lock the inside doorknob to the outside doorknob. I applied for a refund from Amazon and they offered to send a second set and I could return the first set later. Great. I've just tried to install the second set. The first thing I did was to check to see if the screws fit. They do. As I started to install the second set I noticed that a piece is loose on the outside doorknob. Because of that loose piece, I cannot open the door from the outside. I don't see how to tighten that piece, and I don't want to just throw some glue at it because it could interfere with the electronics in the knob. And I cannot switch the knobs between the two set because then I run into the screws not fitting. I've helped so many of my friends over the years, installing shelves, putting together furniture, etc. What I believe is that if there is a problem just putting something together, then there is little to no quality assurance from the company. Your milage may very, but I doubt it. There is obviously no quality assurance when these sets are made. Don't waste your time.

Although the knobs themselves look nice, there's some things that just make it so I can't use this doorknob unfortunately. First, as down in the pictures, the strike plate the piece that goes into it, look like they've already been used for years, and they are white (a very distressed white) and would be better if it matched the color of the doorknob. Second, it requires that the door have the rectangular part chiseled, where my doors currently just have the circle. I could chisel the rectangle part, but I'm afraid I'll over chisel some areas and I think the circle looks better anyway. I've installed a lot of doorknobs and most of they allow for either door style (circle or rectangular). The doorknob looks nice, and I'd love to use it, but unfortunately with the way those two pieces look and the fact that I'd have to chisel part of the door, I won't be installing it. The pieces should be better quality than this and installation should give the option for the other very common for type (circular).

This was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be. When I first opened this and looked at all the parts and instructions I was really frustrated and put it away for a while. Couple of weeks later opened it back up and set up my app on the phone, then I was frustrated because there is a little box that has to be plugged in, so I thought I had to have that box plugged in for my doorknob to work. So, back to the corner of the kitchen table it went. Finally decided to give it a go. I actually sat at the table and put it together before installing it in the back door. Feel kind of silly after my little tantrums because it really wasn't bad to set up the fingerprints and the codes. I really like that you can enter in several prints and codes. Which will work nicely for when I need family to check on my cats when I'm away as I'm always losing my keys. I don't have everything figured out on this yet, I'm happy to say that I have that white box unplugged right now and it's working as I want it to. It looks like there are a lot of options available that can be used, but for me I just want a code to get in my house. I originally wanted this for my front door, but I stuck it in the back as that's the one that I get annoyed for not unlocking it and try to get in my house from the backyard. It's also a south facing door. I live up north and temperatures get a lot colder than this is rated for, so we'll see if it can stand the winters here. I should also mention that it is a nice looking doorknob, and has a good weight to it.
