Overall, the locks work great! I ordered four locks, but one of the locks had a battery issue after around 8 months of using it - it was asking to change the battery every two days or so. I contacted customer service and they responded very quickly and sent me a new lock. So far, it has been working great and I have not experienced any issues with it. The other three locks work perfectly fine - no issues with the battery, the fingerprint reader, and the lock feature - it all works amazing. Would definitely recommend for others to buy and great customer service if you encounter a problem!

Install: This only should have taken about 20-25 minutes to install but because I had a window frame ridge I had to file that down to get the lock mount on the inside to fit. Entire time for me was 45 minutes and a lot of sweat. That wasn't their fault. The strange thing is the inside lock mount is wider than the outside lock mount so I didn't have to file anything for the outside mount. I did drill the hole in the door for the upper screw mount (with supplied drill bit) but couldn't use the supplied templates because my window framing on the door prevented that from setting correctly so I merely positioned the lock, held the gasket in place and removed the lock marking the hole with the rubber gasket. I thought I had it correctly positioned but it was a little off and the bottom part of the lock and the top screw didn't line up just right. I had to try to bore the hole wider to get it to fit. When I did this the supplied drill bit broke. I also thought the mounting hardware illustrations and which screws to use could have been better illustrated. Usage: When I downloaded the app from android play store I immediately got a warning saying that that app could be harmful to my phone. I never got a message from any other app like this. I double checked it and installed it. I also saw a screen with a lot of Chinese print on it when I got this warning, very scary. The first thing I would like to say is that Bluetooth is absolutely worthless for a door lock in my opinion. You have to be 2 meters or less to do anything so you might as well just get a manual lock that you put in the codes standing by the door. It's like having a phone app for the microwave, what's the point? (by the way , Whirlpool includes wifi control with their microwave app) You can get the gateway device FOR AN EXTRA $40 to work with wifi but I think this should have been included. The most frustrating thing so far has been the autolock feature does not seem to work consistently with manual unlocking. I have contacted CSR to verify this and will update if and when I hear back. Also when it does autolock it makes a bunch of beeps and I don't know why it does that. There are more frustrations with the manual. The picture displays are so small you can't see what they are illustrating, the English grammar is bad, and has lots of misspellings. Clearly a Chinese product half-baked without the help of Americans or English speaking people. Another problem with the app features us that they are hard to understand what they do or are not explained at all in the manual or app. I understand the passcodes and generating them , that is good and easy to do but they have other things like admin, ekeys, privacy lock and many more that are not properly explained or explained at all. A BIG frustration is the records in the app. Most lock apps will show you a record of EVERYTHING. This one does not seem to show manual locks/unlocks or autolocks in the records. Another weird thing is if you lock it with the app, it shows "Locked". If you unlock it with the app, it shows "Unlock with App". Do they even have a QA department??? Update : Issue with autolock being inconsistent - It was determined (by much trial and error) that the deadbolt was not sliding freely to its full extension on autolock. It would autolock once and beep many times but when you unlocked it again manually it would not autlock again. I replaced my receiver bracket with the one that came with it and moved it side ways a little and then noticed that the knob position was fully at 3:00 on autolock instead of the 2:00 position it was before. Autolock worked every time after this. NOWHERE in the manual or the trouble shooting tips does it mention these error beeps. Update: Melody from Smonet contacted me and was very helpful in assisting me with the use of the lock.

It is really a good lock. Believe the 1st lock didn't have the right screws. I spoke to customer service. I was chatting with a guy name Jackson. He was very professional. He troubleshooted the lock with me, then determined to send me a replacement lock. I got it installed and it works perfectly. Jackson was courteous, patient and very professional. Thank you Jackson and Smonet. Job well done.

This is a nice lock, built great, fairly straight forward to install and the best feature is the built-in wifi (it needs no external hubs installed to connect to your network). My three complaints; 1.) The lock reacts slow as molasses, takes forever to open after entering code. 2.) The one-touch key lock button also takes forever to react. There should be an adjustment in the app for how long you want the button needs to be pressed to activate lock. 3.) Button backlighting is weird, hard to explain and the keypad is ultra sensitive. Sometimes I've got to enter my code 3 different times because the button registers multiple times with only one press. Annoying, especially when hands are full. It is a trustable brand name, very reliable, at a great price!!!

The SMONET Keyless Entry Door Lock is an impressive piece of home security technology that has improved my overall experience with smart locks. The installation process was a breeze, requiring me to remove my older smart lock and install the new one using just four screws. Thanks to the deadbolt on my door being identical to the new one, I didn't have to deal with the hassle of replacing it. I simply left the old deadbolt in place and installed the new smart lock over it. This feature made the transition exceptionally smooth and was greatly appreciated. Pairing the smart lock with the TTlock app was equally straightforward. The app is user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to set up and pair via Bluetooth. It did not take much time to familiarize myself with the app interface, and I was up and running in no time. An optional G2 gateway purchase allowed me to utilize Alexa voice commands for additional controls, adding another layer of convenience to this smart lock. The process of pairing the TTlock with the G2 gateway was effortless, allowing for a seamless integration with my smart home setup. The user management system on the TTlock app is robust yet user-friendly. Setting up different users, fingerprints, passcodes, and fobs was not complicated at all. This feature is essential for those with larger families or frequent visitors, providing a higher level of control and security. Moreover, unlocking the smart lock via fingerprints was incredibly fast and accurate. The biometrics scanner hardly ever failed to recognize my fingerprint, ensuring quick and secure access to my home. Despite all these fantastic features, I'm reserving the final star because, as with all technology, there's always room for improvement. I'm looking forward to seeing how the SMONET Keyless Entry Door Lock will evolve in the future. For anyone contemplating upgrading their traditional locks or even their older smart locks, this SMONET product is undoubtedly a strong contender worth considering.
