The good: - Easy install - Just need a standard screw driver for everything. - Lock setup was simple. Synced to my phone in seconds. Programming codes, finger prints, and the dongles only took 5 minutes. - Finger print reader has been effective and I haven't had to play the "move your finger just right so it will scan" game yet - App works great. Tells me when and how the door was unlocked. The things to be aware of: - It has an auto lock after x amount of time feature. It does not know if the door is open or shut when this happens. If you unlock the door and leave it open, the lock mechanism will still "lock the door". Meaning the dead bolt will be sticking out while the door is open. You can really damage your door frame and wall if you try and shut it without realizing it. Not taking any stars away as it would take more hardware to implement this but good to know if you have kids that will just push the door closed. You can always disable this feature too. - The lock can be turned left or right to lock (so it can be installed on either side of a door). It has an auto detect feature that is supposed to figure out out the correct way to turn so it can lock. It didn't work for me and wanted to turn the opposite direction. Took 30 seconds to change it in the app so not a big deal but if you didn't realize that was happening you could think it was just broken. - The instructions are very weirdly laid out on the paper. You start in the middle for how it is broken out.

I recently purchased this smart lock hoping for convenience and security, but it has been a significant disappointment. The most critical issue is the fingerprint recognition feature, which is highly unreliable. On multiple occasions, the sensor has failed to read my fingerprint, leaving me locked out and frustrated. Since the whole point of a smart lock is keyless entry, it defeats the purpose when I'm forced to use a backup key. Unfortunately, there have been times when I didn't have the key with me, creating unnecessary hassle and anxiety. While alternative unlocking methods like passcodes or an app are available, they are not why I invested in a fingerprint lock. If I wanted to fumble for a phone or remember a code, I would have stuck with a traditional lock. Furthermore, I am deeply concerned about the build quality and durability. A substantial portion of the lock's body is made of plastic, which feels cheap and flimsy. For a device that is supposed to secure my home, this low-grade material raises serious doubts about its long-term reliability and resistance to wear and tear or potential tampering. Given these two major flaws—the dysfunctional core feature and the subpar construction—I cannot justify the cost and would strongly advise against purchasing this product. It simply does not deliver on its promises.

Works great. One of my favorite features is auto lock. I never forget to lock my door because it does it on its own. Only down side is you have to swipe across the keypad to wake it up then it'll take the pin or key card, but still way faster than a traditional deadbolt, and safer when ur home alone if something happens you cant make it to the door you can give ems or who ever the pin to open the door.
