After testing multiple smart locks across brands like Level, Kwikset Halo, Eufy, and several no-bridge Wi-Fi models, I went into this Biquole lock expecting “budget performance.” But after installing and using it daily, it honestly performs closer to the mid-range smart locks you’d find at big hardware stores—just with a cleaner interface, quicker setup, and a far more modern aesthetic. Installation & First Impressions: Right out of the box, this lock feels solid. The exterior panel has a glossy, almost glass-like surface, and the fingerprint ring lights up with a crisp blue animation that makes it look far more premium. The internal deadbolt motor is extremely quiet, noticeably quieter than my older Kwikset model. Installation took about 10–12 minutes total. The instructions are straightforward, the alignment plate actually lined up correctly (which isn't always the case with budget locks), and once the strike plate was tightened, the deadbolt turned smoothly without grinding or resistance. The included hardware feels durable, not thin stamped metal. App Setup & Features: Connecting it to the app took under two minutes. It paired immediately over Bluetooth, and the app UI is refreshingly simple—no clutter, just the core features you need: codes, auto-lock timing, activity logs, and fingerprint enrollment. While this one doesn’t have Wi-Fi built into the lock itself (it relies on Bluetooth), I found the range to be consistently stable within 15–20 feet. The app loads fast, and the lock responds immediately when commanded to lock/unlock. For front-door use where I’m almost always nearby when unlocking, the Bluetooth method works perfectly. Fingerprint Accuracy: The fingerprint sensor is one of the biggest highlights. It’s fast—around half a second—and surprisingly accurate, even with slightly moist or cold fingers. My Eufy lock required double-taps often; this one rarely misses. You can add multiple fingerprints per user and name each one, which helps keep the access log meaningful. Touchscreen & Keypad: The keypad is bright, responsive, and easy to use at night thanks to the automatic backlighting. The numbered layout is spaced well, so it doesn’t feel cramped. Creating temporary one-time codes takes seconds, and the auto-lock function can be customized down to short or long delays. Everyday Performance: After several days of heavy use, the lock continues to work smoothly. The motor engages quickly but quietly, and the bolt retracts cleanly every time. The upgraded knob set included with the lock is a bonus—solid metal, smooth turning, and visually matches the deadbolt perfectly. Weather resistance has been excellent so far. After a cold morning, there was no lag in fingerprint reading or keypad response, and the lock didn’t produce moisture or fog behind the front panel. Pros: Modern minimalist look with a clean glass-like faceplate Very fast fingerprint detection with high accuracy Smooth, quiet deadbolt motor Easy installation (under 15 minutes) One-time and timed temporary codes are easy to generate Solid metal knob set included Responsive keypad even in cold weather Strong Bluetooth range for nearby unlocks Cons: No built-in Wi-Fi (Bluetooth only) App could use more advanced scheduling options Faceplate is glossy and shows fingerprints Final Thoughts: This lock has exceeded expectations for its price point. Between the fast biometric sensor, the clean design, and the smooth daily performance, it feels like a thoughtfully engineered smart lock that doesn’t cut corners. If you want a sleek, modern upgrade without jumping to $200+ name-brand models, this is a surprisingly high-quality option that performs exceptionally well. Would absolutely buy again for secondary doors or interior security.

This Biquole lock is exactly what I was looking for. It's an easy-to-use and reliable smart lock. The installation process was surprisingly simple and straightforward. I was able to replace my old deadbolt with just a screwdriver in about 15 minutes, with no need for a locksmith. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the lock was up and running with no hassle. The fingerprint reader is incredibly fast and accurate. It recognizes my fingerprint in less than a second, which is a huge convenience when my hands are full. The keypad is responsive, the app control is convenient for generating temporary codes for guests, and it's nice to know I have the mechanical keys as a backup. The app control is excellent. Easy to set up in the smart life app. Looks nice and feels high quality . Many different ways to unlock. But does NOT work with Alexa even with the wireless gateway Both connected and paired via Smartlife app and Alexa with the learned skill the device is never discovered. You can connect the locks with the gateway and control everything with the app if you’re away from home as far as changing codes locking and everything else works fine but asking Alexa to do anything with it will not work. I’ll be keeping the locks but possibly taking back the gateway since using it with Alexa was a main feature i got it for.
