Ours was missing a thumb screw (or maybe we lost it tbh) but their team shipped a new one overnight — honestly the fastest customer support I’ve had in a while. Once we got that in and finished the build, it’s been running exactly how we hoped. The app only works on iOS, which I saw before ordering, but my husband’s on Android and was a little bummed. Just something to check if that matters to you. I usually check the camera before bed to make sure the door’s closed, then again in the morning to see the girls out and pecking around. It’s super satisfying. And I still laugh every time it flags our old golden retriever as a predator. He’s basically as predatory as a throw pillow, but the system’s doing its job, ha!

First time chicken owners looking for something safe, secure and sturdy that could contend with predators in the nearby woods, and this did NOT disappoint. The unit is pricey, but it’s made of steel, and stronger than others out there. This is an easy to set up, all in one system, that I only added a strip of hardware cloth at the bottom of the run to staff off animals trying to dig underneath. Chickens transitioned from the broader with no issues. The automatic door is a game changer as they put themselves to bed and then have access the run and food first things in the morning if we are not prompt enough. We have already encountered a fox but the girls were safely tucked away so he scurried off. As a chicken newbie, the tech was a much appreciated bonus for selecting this coop so we definitely look forward to connecting through the app, to monitor everything going on in and around the coop.

Don’t get the bundle with security cameras.

Love the coop but hate the fact that the coop cam only works with 2.4Ghz WiFi. Most homes have 5Ghz. Not cool.

Buyer beware - overpriced with a useless app

While it looks very stylish, this product is almost unusable as is and it way too expensive for what you get. - Came with missing parts, I talked to Amazon and they just gave me some money to buy the missing screw. It's some special thumb screw so I have to go find it somewhere online, wasting my time. - The app that comes with it only works on iOS, even though the packaging in the box says there is an Android version. - The app is probably the worst app I have ever used, and I am a programmer in tech. Constantly crashes, buttons that you can't click, being forced to sign up for a free trial to continue, live preview doesn't work on any of my cameras, and one of my cameras even after being installed doesn't show up in my list. - Coop is so small for the money. - I will have to figure out how to stop water from coming in the cracks, probably need to install a tarp over the back orange box. I would buy a Google camera and go to Tractor Supply and get a normal chicken coop. I might still do it if I can get a refund of this terrible things. Luckily my chicks are still too young to go in it, so I have time.

These are great chicken coops. We already have one and bought another. Easy to assemble, door makes it easy to clean and access the inside with out having to crawl in. Very Sturdy. It does cost more, but you get what you pay for!
