I installed the K&N Cold Air Intake System on my Toyota Tacoma and I’m really happy with it. The installation was straightforward and took less than an hour with basic tools. Everything lined up well and the instructions were easy to follow, so it’s a great DIY upgrade even if you’re not a professional mechanic. The biggest difference you notice right away is the sound. With the factory intake, the turbo is pretty quiet, but once this intake is installed you can really hear the turbo spool up and the blow-off valve when you let off the throttle. It adds a fun, aggressive sound without being obnoxiously loud. It performed exactly as expected! Performance-wise, the truck feels a little more responsive, and the engine just seems to breathe better. These intakes are designed to improve airflow to the engine, which can help with throttle response and overall driving feel. Overall, this is a great upgrade if you want something easy to install that makes your Tacoma more fun to drive. The sound alone makes it worth it. A tremendous value for the money - I will definitely be adding more parts in the future. Highly recommend this I love mine my Tacoma sounds so much more noticeable and aggressive now it fit perfect and took me 30 mins to install Doesn’t make the car way too powerful but your really just buying it for the sound

Arrived missing an adapter. Had to contact K&N for them to ship it out for free. Debated buying the Banks or SXTH CAI systems. Went with the brand that I have been using since my teen years. Definitely like the look of the SXTH best of the 3 though. Install took about 20 minutes and went pretty smoothly once I had all the parts. You can definitely hear the difference. Not a noticeable difference in power but let’s be honest, people are buying it to hear the swooshing sound. Response upgrade and mpg difference are minimal. ... show more

Gas mileage, gas mileage, gas mileage! I have nothing but good things to say about this device. I purchased it in February hoping it would improve the gas mileage on 2025 Tacoma TRD Sport. Anyone who has one knows gas mileage is atrocious on the Tacoma's. I was getting about 16.2 mpg on average some times more sometimes less. Took a long trip to Canada that involved late night less gas stations being opened and feared greatly running out of gas. Knowing I had to go back I installed this device. It worked. At 1st I got a little over 17 mpg which meant 1 gallon improvement. Then apparently the trucks ECU kept making adjustments and the mpg kept getting better. By April I was getting 18 mpg and now in June I am getting 19.2 mpg. When your only getting 16 mpg a 3 mpg improvement is monumental. Funny I couldn't find any reviews on the gas mileage. All the talk was about the power and what I could care less about, the sound. So here it is a review on the gas mileage for 4th gen Tacoma's. Spectacular! ... show more

Definitely feel the difference. Makes it easy to hear the turbo blow off. Simple install. One warning I would give is, start and if you get a bunch of lights and warnings on your dash. Just take off the negative battery cable for a couple minutes, hook it back up and restart.

Sensor hole was not big enough and had to be shaved down. One of the hose clamps was too small. Overall the quality was not great for the price.
