This is a MUST for harsh cold climates and chickens. Let me start off by saying my chickens huddle around these constantly. I’ve heard horror stories of fires from chicken heaters, so thoroughly tested this to make sure it turns off when it falls. After several tests, I was pleased to find out it turns off when about 45 degrees angled forward or backwards. I love that there are no harsh lights for fire hazards or possible chicken burns. I love the remote, and if you have multiple of these, 1 remote can control all of them! Is my power bill feeling it? Actually not as bad as I thought. Running 2 of these 24/7 I have noticed about a $20 a month increase in my power bill. Best of all, our chickens have continued to lay consistently through the winter in constant below freezing temperatures. My chickens and I would both highly recommend these! They have thought of the safety precautions I was looking for, and have worked great in the cold!

We’ve been using this heater in our coop for about 3 months now. We are in SW Ohio and it’s been single digits with below 0 windchills. This warmer does just enough to take the major chill off at their roosting bar. It’s not going to “heat” the entire space but it does radiate outward enough that it’s helped prevent frostbite on my girls with larger combs. Easy to hang too!

Things pretty weak gotta be at least 3 to 5 inches away to feel any heat i would not recommend size is great just barely gives any heat selafety future don't work I've layed on its side and still keeps heating such a super basic product

This is a great heater but it is NOT compatible with timer and thermostat outlets as it says it is. It has a soft-tpuch power button, but a mechanical power switch, so the timer will turn it off but cannot turn it back on. Im giving 4* because the heater itself is perfect other than the incorrect info about compatibility.

I love this! I hung it on the wall of my coop below a roost, and I find my little rooster asleep above it every night. With a couple of his favorite girls. And he’s not crowing all night any more. He was. cold. and we tried a heat lamp the light kept him awake. this has no light! and has a remote to turn off and on! I love it I ordered a second one for the other side of the coop and the chickens are happy! ❤️

It was super easy to install, I put two screws on side wall and it sits perfectly. Plugged it in and easy to turn up or down. It doesn’t feel as warm like a typical house space heater like I was expecting, but it definitely heats and has helped my ducks! Their coop was freezing, water run off and poop freezing solid and now it doesn’t. I’m only using on cold nights/ days below 15. I can put my hand on it and does not burn my hand. It was definitely worth it for quick cheap order.
