  • Punches way above its weight!
Coming up on a year since I bought this, and it's been amazing. Used it on a half-dozen shoots, and on a flat floor it's as smooth as silk: it's almost dolly and gimbal-like. Even on iffy surfaces, being able to roll your tripod instead of pick it up and re-level really speeds things up. The price is ridiculously low for how well this performs. ... show more

  • Smooth, quality, perfect!
Loving it! I wasn't sure how my tripod would fit into it, but figured it out pretty quickly by adjusting the tripod to space the legs out for this dolly. And it has made my tripod a pro!

  • Great for studio work and location shoots
I had a lot of tripods and light stands for location shoots that had just spikes or pads. Now that I've transitioned to mostly in-house studio shoots, these are a blessing. Can move lights and cameras into place easily, nice smooth rolling action, and then lock them down. They are small and light enough that you could take them on a location shoot if you wanted to. I wish I had these years ago. Seeing grips ordered to pick up light stands and move them here, there, back to where they were, no put them over there. Could have saved so much time and production costs with simple add-on dolly wheels. If you want them for moving dolly shots, can't help you. ... show more

  • Not designed for the AD-100 Freeblazer but you can make it work.
Bought to use in my studio and not outdoors. I’m very happy with the quality for the price. I bought it specifically for the AD-100 Freeblazer tripod legs and was surprised to learn that it didn’t easily work with that tripod. I did figure out how to make it work with a few minutes of effort. I deducted one star because of this. Start by removing the gold cleats from the tripod. Next, loosen the Phillips set screw on each saddle on the dolly. Back the tightening screw enough so that none is protruding into the saddle area. Now take the gold cleats and start sliding it in from the side so that the toe goes in first. You’ll eventually get to a place where the heel of the cleat is just about straddling the rear and eventually you can push it in to the saddle and gently tighten the tension screw. It JUST fits. This will interfere with the quick rise and lowering of the tripod somewhat but just make sure to use the measurements on the dolly lets to keep everything more or less even. ... show more

  • Glides like butter
I love this dolly. I use this with my SmallRig AD-01 tripod. It glides around so smoothly and lets you do excellent tracking shots. The tripod fits really securely at the base and the wheels lock securely in place providing a really stable base. It is s so easy to collapse and fold away for transport. ... show more
