  • No doubt a HUGE upgrade!!!
Style: Nintendo Switch 2 System Pattern Name: Console Only
I was unsure about upgrading from my original launch version of the Switch 1 when the Switch 2 debuted. It is so worth it. Games on the Switch 2 vs the Switch 1 look so much better, load much faster, supports fast internet speeds with no lag, and offer games the Switch 1 cannot run such as Cyberpunk 2077. It also feels like playing a new game when playing Switch 1 games on it! NOTE!! Neither of these 2 cautions I mention below are worth removing a star from its rating. This is a great gaming system. I'm mentioning these "cautions" because they will possibly help a lot when first getting it setup. Please see below. CAUTION 1: When doing your system transfer from Switch 1 to Switch 2, when first turning on the Switch 2 and going through the setup, if you get a message saying to connect the AC (power) adapter, you HAVE to plug in the provided power cord from the Switch 2 (plug it into the Switch 1 if it also has the AC connect message, then unplug it and plug into the Switch 2). After that, transfer was quick and easy. CAUTION 2: Switch 2 only supports an "EX"/"ESX"? type of micro SD cards. The system already has 256GB to use though (a little less than 256GB after system memory etc). ... show more

  • It's the next Nintendo console! If you like Nintendo games, what choice do you have?
Style: Mario Kart World Bundle Pattern Name: Console Only
Nintendo Switch 2 is just an upgrade over the original Nintendo Switch. It runs most games better, has better video quality output, and the included Mario Kart World is a solid game. It definitely hasn't justified it's position as a new platform yet, but games will come in time, probably. I'm a PC gamer, so consoles in general are a tough sell, but as far as consoles go, Nintendo's offerings are usually worthwhile for the high quality exclusives. The Switch 2 is priced a little expensive, but so is everything these days, so it's not much of a surprise. Worth the cost of entry? Tough to say, but for me, I won't be without my Nintendo games for long, so it was an inevitable choice, even if it made my wallet quite thin. Make sure to get a screen protector. ... show more

  • Nintendo Switch 2 Gaming System
Style: Nintendo Switch 2 System Pattern Name: Console Only
The Best Nintendo Console Yet – A True Evolution of the Switch The Nintendo Switch 2 is everything I hoped for and more—it’s a true next-gen upgrade that builds on what made the original Switch great, while adding meaningful improvements across the board. First off, the performance is a huge leap forward. Games load faster, frame rates are smoother, and visuals are noticeably sharper and more vibrant. Whether you're playing docked on a 4K TV or in handheld mode, the Switch 2 delivers stunning graphics that finally feel on par with modern gaming expectations. The upgraded OLED display (if you're using the OLED model) is absolutely gorgeous—colors pop, blacks are deep, and everything looks crisp and fluid. The new hardware design is sleek and feels more premium. The Joy-Cons have been improved—they’re more ergonomic and seem to have addressed the infamous stick drift issues so far. The button feedback is more satisfying, and everything feels tighter and more responsive overall. One of the biggest standouts is the battery life and efficiency. Even with the performance boost, I’ve been able to play for long sessions in handheld mode without needing to recharge. That’s a big win for portable gamers. Backward compatibility is another huge plus—my digital library from the original Switch carried over seamlessly, and older games even seem to run better thanks to the new hardware. On top of that, the updated user interface is snappier and more intuitive, and the new features (like enhanced online integration, cloud saves, and improved friend system) finally make the system feel more modern. Of course, what really seals the deal is the software. Nintendo launched the Switch 2 with some fantastic titles (Mario Kart World, Zelda: Echoes of Time, and more), and the future lineup looks just as strong. Between first-party hits and growing third-party support, there’s no shortage of quality games to enjoy. If you're a longtime Nintendo fan, a casual gamer, or someone just looking for a versatile and fun gaming system, the Switch 2 is absolutely worth the upgrade. It’s portable, powerful, and packed with thoughtful refinements that make gaming more enjoyable in every way. ... show more

  • Worth The Investment
Style: Nintendo Switch 2 System Pattern Name: Console Only
This is my first time getting a Nintendo Switch, and I have honestly been using it non-stop since I got it. It’s so much fun and definitely worth the investment — I can tell it’s built to last for years of gaming. The battery life has been great; I haven’t had any issues at all, and a full charge lasts me several days of casual to moderate gameplay. I also love how versatile it is — handheld mode, docked, or tabletop — it really adapts to how I want to play. Overall, it’s an amazing console that’s perfect for both gaming at home and on the go. ... show more
