  • Great! Bad Battery Though
no more claw grip! Feels premium, love swapping the stick caps and making profiles. But man, the battery dies super quick, like 3-4 hours max, way worse than my regular DualSense. And it's expensive. Worth it if you play a ton competitively, otherwise maybe stick with the normal one

  • Great programming controller for PS5
One of the best controllers my husband said for the PS5 he says it’s easy to program had a lot of programmable buttons with 3-4 programmable profiles.

  • You may not need it, but if you want it, you want it.
Premium product. Very well made and thought through. It takes time getting used to the extended features - and learn how to take advantage of them. Generally, it can give you an edge in games like Call Of Duty or Battlefield, and perhaps for the manual driving in GT7 and F1 - and if you’re really into this genre and spend a lot of time playing competitively, and you already got a memory expansion for your PS5 Pro, then you will find a way to justify this $200 gadget - but if you’re a casual player then… well… if you can afford it then enjoy. Otherwise, you may want to invest in a memory extension for your PS5 first and ponder whether a $200 actually makes sense for a $500 - $750 console. ... show more

  • An awesome Controller that you wish you would have had all along!
Honestly, I don't know how I have lived without this controller! The extra adjustments on the controller itself are a game changer (pun intended)! Adding the extra buttons the you can assign to any other button on your controller is a very nice feature! I don't know how many times I have died in a game due to hitting the wrong D-Pad button! Where I was misinformed, and something I wish they would incorporate, is the two extra buttons can only be assigned to existing buttons. What I was really hoping for, was two extra buttons that you could assign to other moves/abilities in game settings. In a perfect world, that would be awesome! But, this is life, and we take what we can get. Otherwise, I absolutely love this controller! The awesome case it comes with has the extra sticks (long and short), and two sets of buttons that go on the bottom of the controller. The fin buttons are perfect to add as specific D-Pad buttons that can be hard to get at. They go two different directions (in and out), but do the same thing. Maybe they'll have an update in the future that allows the direction to be assigned to different buttons. It would be nice to have access to all 4 D-Pad buttons underneath the controller, where it's much to access. Although a bit spendy, I found it to be well worth the expense! ... show more

  • Fixed my clumsy thumbs
I bought this because my thumb keeps slipping of the joystick while playing platformers and hitting the PS button. I paid over twice the price of a regular controller just to be able to disable the PS button on-the-fly and it was worth every penny. Only downside is the battery life is much lower, but I still get a couple days of moderate gameplay out of a charge. ... show more

  • Love the Customization, Hate the Battery Life
I’ve been using the DualSense Edge for about a month now, and I’ll be honest — it’s one of the most premium controllers I’ve ever held, but it also comes with a few things you should really consider before spending this much. Build & Comfort: Right out of the box, the controller feels sturdy and high-end. The textured grips are a huge improvement over the standard DualSense, especially during long gaming sessions. The weight is a bit heavier, but in a good way — it feels solid and balanced in the hands. Customization: The back paddles are a game-changer for me. They’re fully remappable and make a noticeable difference in games like Call of Duty and Elden Ring. I also love that you can save multiple profiles and switch between them on the fly. The adjustable trigger stops are another great touch if you like quick trigger pulls for shooters. Performance: Input response feels identical to the regular DualSense — crisp and precise. Haptics and adaptive triggers still feel as immersive as ever. The modular thumbsticks are convenient; being able to swap them out (and even replace the modules if they wear down) gives me confidence this controller will last longer than most. Battery Life: Here’s the biggest downside — battery life isn’t great. I get around 5–6 hours max, which is noticeably less than the regular DualSense. It’s not a dealbreaker for me since I usually play plugged in, but it’s worth mentioning. Price: It’s definitely expensive, and that’s where this controller will divide people. You’re paying for customization and premium feel, not necessarily a huge gameplay advantage. If you’re a casual player, the standard DualSense is still fantastic. But if you’re into competitive or long-session gaming, the Edge feels like a worthy upgrade. Final Thoughts: Overall, the DualSense Edge is a beautifully crafted, highly customizable controller that delivers where it counts — comfort, precision, and adaptability. The price and battery life hold it back from perfection, but if you value control customization and durability, it’s absolutely worth considering. ... show more

  • Just buy it !
I refused for so long to buy this stupid controller for my husband..but he really wanted it and it was on sale. 🫣🤣 he loves it. I’ve used it a couple times but I’m not near the gamer he is. He says it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread. It was easy to sync to the PlayStation and thankfully there’s finally no stick drift…until my husband starts throwing this one around too !
