I've always loved this specific headset, so this is my 3rd time buying The soft memory protein earmuff on the headset is comfortable while also providing a good, tight fit around your ears for improved audio quality. I also really enjoy the adjustable headband, making it very easy to adjust to my head size. When I first bought this headset, I never thought the bass would be this good, but I was proven wrong, which makes it very enjoyable to use for listening to music as well, while not distorting sounds, muffling sounds, or lacking clarity for sounds when not gaming. I do enjoy the volume wheel for quick access to lowering and raising the volume to my needs without having to be near my laptop, PC, etc... The quality of the headset wire is very strong for the amount of time my chair has run over it, and how many times it has been stretched. Same goes for the headset itself as well, I've dropped this headset from far heights onto hard floorings many times while never breaking. The only downside to this headset is its microphone. The microphone has a never-ending fan sound and/or static sound that is produced, making it a bit hard for others to hear what you're saying, as well as it becomes extremely annoying after a few minutes, maybe even less. What makes it even worse is when talking, it cuts in and out along with the fan or static sound, making it even worse for others to hear (I personally couldn't understand many words others were saying when testing the mic on this headset) This alone would have dropped it from 5 stars to 4 or 3 stars, but the sound quality and being able to identify where sounds are being played from in-game very easily with high-quality sound make up for it, in my opinion.

I bought this BENGOO G9000 gaming headset for my 11-year-old son to use with his Nintendo Switch, and it’s been a fantastic purchase. He was thrilled with how it looks — the LED lights and overall design make it feel really “cool” and high-tech, which was a big deal for him. From a parent’s perspective, I’m impressed with the sound quality and how well the noise-canceling mic works. He uses it for both gaming and chatting with his friends, and I can actually hear a difference — less background noise, and his friends can hear him clearly without yelling. The earmuffs are super soft and comfortable, which is perfect for longer play sessions (and trust me, there are plenty!). Plus, the headset is adjustable, so it fits his head now but will still be useful as he grows. He mainly uses it with the Switch, but we’ve also tested it on his iPad and my laptop — all worked great. For the price, this headset feels surprisingly durable and offers features you’d expect in much more expensive options. Highly recommend for any parent looking for an affordable, quality headset for their kid’s gaming setup!

It's about what you would expect for the price. Sound quality isn't anything special, but works fine for me. The built-in microphone isn't super good, but again, it works for me. I like how you can turn off the lights. Personally, I've never once used the lights. It's surprisingly durable, and the material feels a bit cheap. This doesn't bother me though, because it makes the headphones lighter. Overall, I really like these, but if you're a serious gamer, than you probably wanna find something better.

UPDATE AFTER REFUND: After posting my below honest review, the company kindly worked with me, wanting to resolve the issue. I explained that I was not sure how that could be done as I believe the microphone is too insensitive and, being on an inflexible and short arm, unable to get any closer to the user's mouth. They responded they would take this into account in future product design and generously refunded me. I will give them 5 stars for what turned out to be a free pair of headphones. After months of having people tell me I was too quiet, please do know, though, that this is best used as headphones and not as a headset. I suppose you get what you pay for, but I do not think other reviews did justice to just how bad the microphone is on this headset. Every person I have ever spoken with using this microphone says I sound quiet, and they say I still sound quiet if they turn my volume up to 200%. A headset gives sound output and should give quality sound input - this only does half of that; hence, 2.5 stars maximum. It definitely provides sound output at good quality, with relative comfort for me, and little hassle in setup or use - deserving of an 80%+ of that 2.5 star potential. I would NOT buy it again - spend $20 more to get something decent from Best Buy.
