- Better Security and StabilityTriple lock tightly via a 1/4-20 screw, a positioning pin at the bottom, and an M4 screw at the left strap slot are used to prevent your camera from twisting. - Multi-scene ShootingFor stabilizer, the bottom plate for Arca swiss enables access or disassembly easily on RS 2/RSC 2/ RS 3 / RS 3 Pro for DJI. I shouldn’t have waited this long to try it out as I can’t return it now.. the top handle screw doesn’t fit into the main hole. It goes it half way and it stops. I forced as hard as I can to tighten it but there is so much play it’s unusable. Please send me a good one SmallRig. I waited until I had a big project to use it and assemble it and now I can’t use it…

I tried a few rigs for the R5 and R5 C and they all had issues with the cage getting in the way of the buttons on the camera or are excessively bulky. I found this smallrig cage to be perfect for my needs. It’s strong and robust enough for when you need to build out a full cinema rig while also being light and streamlined enough to leave on the camera all the time for casual shooting of stills and video. Fit is perfect, has internal padding so it doesn’t scratch the camera body which is a plus. The top handle has a great ergonomic feel without looking weird and having unnecessary size. Love this rig all around. SmallRig has really come a long way. They used to be the economic option and for this instance they’re the BEST option and also the most economical. Great product!

Purchased this for a jig and Amazon delivered on time as expected. However, similar to the experience of another reviewer, the handle could not be fitted plush. Now, I returned the cage and my plans for the upcoming shoot were shot.

This is worth the upgraded cost just to get the cable clamp which doesn't seem to be available separately. Fit and finish are excellent and the nato rail side-handle is very handy for a hand-grip. Most of the other cages do not have the nato rail integrated like this. The top handle is pretty adorable too.

The build quality and fit to the camera is NEXT LEVEL!! I've had other cages that don't fit well or allow movement, but this is solid, lightweight, and has an incredible feel. I highly recommend it.

The screw that fastens the handle to the top of the cage doesn’t seat properly. It’s too long, so I had to dig around and find some washers to get it to a point that it’s usable. The rest of the cage feels and looks good, but the camera definitely is not snug in the cage. It is a canon R5C, I’ve been over the entire cage multiple times to make sure everything is tightened. Really not excited about this cage, and I’m thinking about returning it and trying a Tilta, which is the same price.
