Ran for less that 10 min. and it started making noise the popped and auger stopped. Restarted it and the augger jumped and popped and stopped. All with out running long enough to get cold enough to freeze anything. Hope the replacement works better... zero stars!

I’ve been wanting a slushie maker for a long time but couldn’t justify the high price of the big name brands. When I came across this option for about half the cost, I knew I had to give it a try, and I’m so glad I did. So far, this machine has been fantastic for making all kinds of slushed beverages. It offers five different settings: slush, spiked slush, frappé, milkshake, cold juice, plus a rinse mode. We’ve tried the juice setting for the kids and a frozen hot chocolate recipe we found online. Both came out great and were huge hits in our house. This machine is slim enough it fits easily on our counter. I’m especially excited to try the spiked slush options and plan to make slushed sangrias for some parties we have coming up next year. I also can’t wait to use this poolside over the summer. Honestly, I’m even considering picking up a second machine, one dedicated to kid drinks and one for the adults, for our big family BBQs. Overall, I’m thrilled with this machine and can’t wait to experiment with more recipes for parties and family events. It’s absolutely worth it.

Let's be honest, I ordered this for the coctails.. But honestly, this is great for slushies for the kids, or even frozen coffee drinks. I’ve been having a great time with this slushie machine! Right away, I liked how simple it was to operate. You just pour in your drink, press a button, and it takes care of the rest. The different preset modes are a huge plus because I can go from frozen coffee drinks in the morning to margaritas or spiked slushies when friends come over. It also lets you adjust how icy or thick you want the drink, which makes a big difference depending on what you’re making. The large capacity has already been a hit during family get-togethers. It keeps drinks consistently cold and slushy, and it works faster than I expected for the size. My daughter absolutely loves that she can have slushies whenever she wants, and it’s fun seeing how excited kids get with it running on the counter. Cleanup is easy too, especially with the self-clean function, so you can just enjoy it without worrying about a big mess. The media could not be loaded. I was surprised at how heavy this machine was when it arrived. While it is a weighty unit, it has a narrow size, so I was able to fit it next to our espresso machine (until our larger cabinet arrives). It only has three parts to remove and clean: the collection tray, the liquid tank and the rotating spinner. It's very simple to remove all of these and clean them, but this machine also has a self cleaning setting. So far, this machine has worked great. I've made strawberry milkshakes and they tasted like I'd gone to a restaurant! We did have some issues with freezing up, but I'm pretty sure this was user error, as I don't think I added enough sugar to the second batch (it started to turn into ice cream). Since this unit has a safety feature that stops the motor if it gets jammed, that's what it did. Again, pretty sure that was on me. As this is our first slushie machine, I'm not sure what features they usually have, but I do wish this had a beep or some sort of timer at least to let you know when it's gotten to temp. You have to pretty much watch the clock and test to see if your drink is where you want it to be. ** The drip tray does slide in more under the machine itself, so it won't move around. At first I didn't realize this, so make sure to really get it under. It can be a little difficult to do. Otherwise, it's a solid machine and it's been SO fun to use. I plan on bringing it to game night at a friend's house! From what I've seen, this is super comparable to other, way more expensive brands. I'm highly pleased so far.
