When we go out, I always love getting frozen margaritas with my meals at restaurants but we were finding that it was getting expensive. This slushie machine totally changed everything. I no longer get frozen margaritas at restaurants as this is very easy to use. No need to have ice on hand! There is a cool touch real time temperature display. Clean up is a breeze as the auto clean feature does all the work. The best part, it does more than just margaritas...it makes frappes, milkshakes and shuishes as well! My kids can't wait to make homemade ice cream (but that will come later as I first need to get my frozen margarita fix). Very simple to use and great to have on hand for parties during the summer time.

Awesome machine! Great for making slushis and other frozen items. So far it's been great for making mango lassis (just to keep it nice and cold and creamy!), slushis from fresh pineapple juice, and strawberry ice cream. The texture comes out great and the capacity is perfect for everything from 1-2 servings up to like 6 or so. I love how easy to use the machine is and how it doesn't need any ice or prepping required - You just pull the machine, pour in the liquid, and very soon you have what you're looking for. Cleanup can be a little annoying but luckily it's dishwasher safe.

Easy to set up, use, and clean. Perfect slushies from soda or fruit juice. Quite quick, overall. The included ice cream recipes are icy, but variations on the America's Test Kitchen blender ice cream recipe (using sweetened condensed milk, corn syrup, and half and half) makes a fluffy, smooth product which requires conventional freezer time before adding solid ingredients or jams/fruit purees. Ginger (ginger juice and marbled with jam), malaga (run and cardamom flavoring with rum soaked raisins added when soft mix is nearly frozen hard), pistachio (pistachio and anise flavors with folded in nuts), pina colada (pineapple and cocoanut flavorings marbled with toasted cocoanut and pineapple jam) all were great. The control to adjust the freezing temperature is not intuitive (a big snowflake should be colder and a smaller one warmer -- or the reverse?) and does not seem to operate at all on some programs (yes for slush, probably no for ice cream). The provided instructions do not make this temperature tweeker clear.
