I got this to use for relief from breast engorgement. I was using a normal $5 massager with the 4 points of contact, but it was hard plastic and I couldn't use it well while breastfeeding. This is small enough, soft enough, and quiet enough to use while breastfeeding. To be such a small hand help massager, it is powerful. It has 6 speeds. It really helped my husband after he had surgery and therapy on his hand. The ball at the end is cushioned and the perfect size to cup in the palm. Rechargeable so I don't have to worry about replacing the batteries all the time. I got this instead of the Hitachi because it is compact and the price is cheap. It seems to work fine. My girlfriend hasn't decided if she likes it or not for sure. Time will tell.
